Able custom design question

I've been making my own designs to add to the back wall but I tried to switch one of my designs (just to move it over one space on the wall) but it completely disappeared. I know I had 2 options to pick what I wanted to do with it but I can't remember which one I chose. Which one can I choose next time so I can still keep my design?

Did you overwrite the design slot of the first design? If you did, then I think it's gone.

For the original default designs on the wall, Mabel asks what you want to do with the old design. Either you take it with you to save it in a design slot or get rid of it.
