WIP on my new jojo oc! her name is yenien leyva, and her stand is slow hands (she was born with slow hands, slow hands was not obtained/awakened later in life like some stand users have). she is from chile. she has a minor "x" motif. slow hands can disconnect their gloves from their "ropes" and allow yenien to wear them. she can use them for combat, but slow hands's legitimate ability is that when they connect one of their "ropes" to someone, yenien can use the gloves to manipulate them like a marionette. slow hands can control a max of 6 people at a time (only has six ropes) and their ropes can extend rather far, though yenien would need to be within seeing distance to know what shes doing to the person. she currently has trouble controlling more than two people at a time, and if shes controlling more than that the movements will look very strange and awkward. slow hands tends to sit back and let yenien do most of the work with their gloves, resting behind yenien.
yenien's dream was to be a doctor, but due to poor upbringing she was never given the educational opportunity she needed. she found herself with no clue as to who she wanted to be, so she reverted to somewhat reckless behavior in the hopes shed stumble upon an opportunity of sorts or die trying. after meeting another rather dominating stand user with big plans, she agreed to enlist into their mission.
yenien hates making her own decisions, and prefers to be dragged along through things by others. shes also a desperate romantic, and will scout out romantic opportunities with everyone she meets. because of these qualities, shes easily manipulated, ironically. had she had a different upbringing, she likely wouldve developed a personality suiting for her stand, but unfortunately feels very lost and out of place all the time
i plan to make two more. im thinking a boy with the stand family jewels and then another girl with a stand named from either the hoosiers, mother mother, or the yeah yeah yeahs. if you have any suggestions for stand names feel free to give them
anyways thats an update on her progress and design! ill probably do another request after dinner or something
