ACNL Panel

So this might be on the wrong forum but anyway...!!

Im planning on doing a panel in an upcoming convention but this will be my very first panel alone
I was at a loss of ideas and my friend finally said I could do it so that's bad XD

What I come here to do is ask what do you guys think will make a good panel??
I can do more than one. I was thinking one can be for beginners or for tricks and cheats
And another would be a contest. Like a mini competition. All island runs and the top three winners would win in game stuff and goodies. What do you guys think??

Leave suggestions and comments please, I'd really appreciate the help!

EDIT: I will be doing two panels! One will be a game show themed and the other a guide to tips and tricks for the game! I more or less got the game show down but what could i show in the guide one??? I don't want it to be just instructions...

hmm!! maybe some interactive mini-games as well?
like, maybe buy some swedish fish/fish shaped gummies or flower/fruit-shaped candies and think of some mini-games (acnl-related trivia or something else) and reward them? Or maybe a game where you see a name and you have to match it to villager face or vice versa
I don't know... !!! I kind of didn't put much though into this before posting ahaha ;;

At E3, they'd talk about video games. They can be famous youtube gamers or game designers answering questions about themselves or games. At MAGfest, animators or famous youtubers gather and answer questions and discuss issues.

I don't think you should do it alone. Anyway, an ACNL only thing might be too small. Perhaps sell merchandise you made yourself or maybe your friends and you made. Maybe try an all out Nintendo themed one if ACNL is too strict an idea.

You could totes add a ball pit tho.

Also I don't think I'm allowed to sell things within panels
That's what artist/dealer's tables are for so I might get in trouble

There's many panels that are strictly just one thing.
I've seen many where it's just some animes.
I went to one that was just kill la kill and the entire time we just talked about possible new seasons, characters, theories, etc. it was a fairly new anime so it surprised me to see how many people showed up. I don't think acnl has such a small community that only a minimal amount of people will show up

I've been to panels who host trivia games, and those are always fun

if you know someone good at guitar, KK SLIDER!

or have dr. shrunk and tell lame jokes, and hand out to people emoji masks when your done
(maybe with popsicle sticks so they can hold them up to their face)

I like the tips and tricks idea! If I was at the panel I'd think that was totally cool.

see if they can tell the difference between a "real painting" and a "fake"

explore dream addresses and vote who has the best town
(you'd have to set up the 3ds to the projector and probably take down addresses before it starts)

give out random prizes by sticking a balloon to a wrapped present. (cheap prizes could be like gold coin chocolates that would be "bells", framed villager pics, coffee packets that say brewster, etc..)

how to design a house in new leaf

this is cool

hide butterfly/cicadas (not real) around the room, and whoever finds the most wins

Not wrong. The anime panels run at this con are mostly if not all run by members of the anime community/group of just regular people. So it's not so much QnA, insider stuff, famous people, like other panels that can actually afford that. These panels are just peeps wanting to share more about something they have interest in.
