Well your audience is probably going to be 13-25 years old girls.

I've been to panels who host trivia games, and those are always fun

if you know someone good at guitar, KK SLIDER!

or have dr. shrunk and tell lame jokes, and hand out to people emoji masks when your done
(maybe with popsicle sticks so they can hold them up to their face)

I like the tips and tricks idea! If I was at the panel I'd think that was totally cool.

see if they can tell the difference between a "real painting" and a "fake"

explore dream addresses and vote who has the best town
(you'd have to set up the 3ds to the projector and probably take down addresses before it starts)

give out random prizes by sticking a balloon to a wrapped present. (cheap prizes could be like gold coin chocolates that would be "bells", framed villager pics, coffee packets that say brewster, etc..)

how to design a house in new leaf

this is cool

hide butterfly/cicadas (not real) around the room, and whoever finds the most wins

I'll add more as I get more ideas....

If this were for real, I'd go nuts. This would be so awesome!! I want to participate ;-; But I'm like 7000 km away so it's useless q-q
I think panels where you can actually really DO something (not only sit and listen or speak) are the best.
I'm too stupid to find any cool ideas, but buuunii, you really shouldn't have to worry too much.
I'm confident that you will master the panel with perfection! c:
