So you may be wondering what the best month of the year or the worst month of the year is. Normally, people would say that the best month is their birthday month while the worst month is usually January, February, March, or even August. Regardless, all 12 months have some advantages and disadvantages. You may say that October is the best month, but would you care to hear about only the election in the news every four years? You would say that February is the worst month, but if you like Valentine's Day as your favorite holiday, think again. Now I went over the advantages and disadvantages, I'll tell you what the ones with asterisks mean.

1-Star: Time of the Year

The definition of "Early Year Advantage", "Late Year Advantage", and "Mid-year Disadvantage" refers to what you have if you're having a bad year. For the first three months, if you were already having a bad year, you still have much more to go in the year, especially in January. This means you have more time to improve your year or at least to enjoy. If you're already having a good year, your only hope is to maintain the good year. You may not know what happens later in the year. As for the last three months, if the overall year was bad, thus it was ruined, you don't have much time before the year ends. It may be already too late to improve, but at least you can let the time pass so you can see the year die. If you were already having a good year, it's already too late to ruin the year at this point unless if something very bad happens. One bad month won't spoil the rest. But if you have four or five bad months, then your year is already ruined. As for the mid-year disadvantage, if you were already having a bad year, even if you try to enjoy the rest of the year, it's already ruined. And you have much longer to wait until the year ends.

2-Stars: Length of the day

Throughout the late fall and early winter, you'll notice that days are even shorter and nights are longer. As for the late spring and early summer, it's the other way around. The reason why day length matters is because of how much light we get. When it's daytime, it's easier to see where you're going, it's more worth going outside, especially when there's no rain, and more businesses are open. Whereas at night, not only we don't have these advantages, but we have to use artificial lighting, which costs more. Robberies are more common at night. More dangerous animals are active at this time. Because of the daytime advantages and nighttime disadvantages, it's a lot worse that nights are longer and days are shorter.

3-Stars: Daylight Savings Time

In both March and November, switching the clock is rather a disadvantage. It's not just annoying, but it's stupid. Either way, there's a side disadvantage. In March, we lose an hour, which means we have to bed earlier than normal. In November, when nights are getting earlier, switching the clock back makes nights begin even earlier.

4-Stars: Beauty

You may not necessarily get it because seasons vary by region, but if we get more general, I can explain it. In April, we get a larger variety of blooming flowers than anywhere else. Of course, they do close sometimes, but it means more leaves will grow. In October, we start seeing leaves change colors. If they are still monochromatic, then at least they are still green. If they aren't, we at least get to see more beautiful colors. In May and November, they start becoming more monochromatic. There are less flowers in May than in April (I think), and less colorful trees in November than in October. You may not agree with this, but this is an observance.

5-Stars: Birthdays

No matter what time of the year your birthday is, there are disadvantages of having birthdays in every month. From November to January, birthdays in these months are closer to Christmas, which means less presents for your birthday. In June and July, they aren't very good months to host birthday parties since most friends should be out of town for summer vacation. Also, there's no school, so no bringing cupcakes. In February and October, people are so focused on other holidays that they care less about your birthday. Since there are a lack of holidays in August and September, and since school is in session, you would be luckier to have a birthday in either month.

That's all I have to say for today. You may not agree with me on some, but they are my opinions on what each month has.
