no. they post things like anything like pet pictures, family pics memes, or announcements about projects and people comment. They also retweet some fan art and announce signings, streams and on a rare occasion do giveaways.
yeah, a lot of social media tends to end up being filled with one-sided interactions that the other person will probably forget pretty quickly. it's fun to use to post things you make or think are interesting, but its easy to fall under the wayside.

so, in other words, they use social media like everyone else uses it? /nm /hj
yup. for the most part. they still have to be professional and stick to the non-disclosure act (they can’t talk about projects until they get the okay from the company they are working for).
I'm posting this here to kind of get it off my chest. But this is a interesting topic to talk about.
Don't get me wrong I can talk to people through messages, but that doesn't compare to actually talking to them especially in person. A lot of People online just post things for attention and don't really want to chat or engage in topics with people. It creates a weird structure where people really want validation yet act superior to others, but also want to be associated with others whom they perceive to be better off. Nothing about it seems authentic or honest. No wonder why people are so insecure.
I couldn't agree more and it's why I never post anything personal on social media anymore apart from Instagram every now and then... if I feel like it. Over the last few days I've come to see it as a place to feel validated or just show off a small portion of your life to the outside world. Also you can't read people properly through messages which can sometimes lead to worrying that you might've said something wrong if they don't answer or taking something the wrong way. It's quite sad that in today's society us humans are constantly looking for validation in order to find happiness and fulfilment with life in general.
i think it depends how you use it. some people use social media to keep in touch with friends/family and make new connections, some use it to market goods/services, some use it as a digital photo album, some people like to learn about other places and people, some like to seek inspiration from artists or share their creativity with others, some like to use it to voice their opinions and spread awareness of causes they care about, some people want to brand themselves and become an influencer/network/or just display themselves to the world and their community in a certain way, some people use it because they want validation, and some people want to troll and/or spread misinformation. in my opinion, social media is just a tool, and its effect depends on how its used.
personally its easier for me to talk to someone online. i am not good at socializing in person although i try my best. i think meaningful relationships can be built both in person and on social media. humans are social, and people will act fake to be accepted both off and online so its not a big difference to me
