Now before you comment, I'm not talking crap about collectibles.
I just want to know if others don't really care for them, as you can see, I have none present on my sidebar and I never see anyone who doesn't have any either. I had a lot of Xmas ones but then I learned you couldn't sell them so I stopped collecting. Before my hiatus, I would go to the intro board once in a while and give a random newbie a cake. So does anyone else not care for collectables or is it just me?
I used to really care. I would save up my TBT to buy letters and I so badly wanted the popsicle collectible. I still like them but I refuse to pay the insane prices for them now.
To each his/her own! I personally like them a lot, but have seen users who don't. A few friends fall into that category. (Instead they are saying I should play mafia, ha, ha.) If they don't float your boat, it just doesn't. It took me a while to get into too. Like months. I have a friend from way back who never got into it, so yeah, normal.
no, you're clearly not the only one. it's not uncommon to see people with half arsed lineups. if there's a collectible getting restocked in the shop, i'll snatch it only to re-sell it at a higher price. other than that, i dont care much for collectibles. i see them as a waste of bells, i could be spending that tbt on something thats actually practical, like in game items, art, etc.
For the most of my stay here I've really been into collectibles!! But from now on I think (note: think) I'm going to back off from collectibes, since I'm super duper happy and satisfied with the carnation collectibles ^^ (carnations are my all-time favorite flower and I'm so glad they made a collectible for it, I'm probably never going to let them go since it holds a lot of sentimental value x) Other collectibles are temporary for me but these carnations are going to be forever!)
i just buy to sell for tbt. actually, the only ones i buy are the special event ones (unless i get banned and my friend has to get them for me, looking at you easter) and then i only have a small collection of them.
When I first joined I thought "what is the point in these and why are people wasting so many bells on them" but now they're growing on me, I don't have any but I like them now!
I'm only collecting then as charms, where each one has a meaning. I just want the Emerald for now because my birthday is this month. Somebody let me buy a carnation off of them, I wanted that because I'm a mom. Otherwise, no. I find it so irritating that things are sold out so fast that I don't care about building my profile, I'll put my TBT toward ACNL.

i think i have some halloween ones too but im not rly sure. maybe i should sell those lmao
