Guest, you're invited to help build our new TBT time capsule! It contains three parts, with some of its elements planned to open in 2029 and others not until the distant future of 2034. Get started in 2024 Community Time Capsule: Blueprints.
Your asking for a bit much! I mean, Nintendo tried their best to make this game as good as it can be... and how would you feel about making loads of conversations for 6 different personalities. Be happy with what you got, and I'm pretty impressed with what they put up.
I've been playing less, but really only because I've been so busy. I've been constantly about a week behind for about a month now due to being busy. I catch up but then I can't play for a week or a week and a half straight and I get behind again. It's annoying to constantly have to play catch-up, but I don't really have much of a choice lately.
I haven't gotten bored yet. For games that don't have an ending, I just play until I get bored of it. When that'll be, who knows.
I'm definitely playing it less than when I got it because I'm busy with school, but I don't find the game boring. I think it's the kind of game you play for a few minutes every day, rather than a few hours, so I just let things flow. I got the Beautiful Town ordinance from the start to prepare for this, and even with little play in about a month, I could pick up right where I left off because I didn't need to spend an hour or two weeding.
I like arranging outfits pretty often, and I get excited around holiday times and pick up the game again. Overall, I think it's a game that you play in waves, though. Sometimes you get really into it, other times you put it down for a week or more.
I like the game.
Plus, even if I didn't, I've become really attached to it, so if I ever stopped playing, it'd only be a matter of time before I guilt-tripped myself into playing it again. Worrying about all the weeds that would sprout up would drive me crazy.
I am building 2 towns and I have hundreds of hours dedicated to this game.
I am not bored and find everyday so different and challenging.
I added extra characters and now I am fixing up their houses.
In my first town, I am building a clock store and a very girly bed and breakfast inn.
In my second town I am building another bed and breakfast inn but with the log cabin theme. I have the house surronded with lots of pine trees and the log bench.
I change the PWP's in my town. Some of them get moved to other locations.
If you're bored or frustrated, let it go. Persisting in doing something that feels like a chore won't improve the experience. Take a break, play a different game for a while, read a good comic book, listen to new music!
My ACNL game still interests me. I look forward to watering my flowers everyday, checking for hybrids, interacting with my residents, etc. I'm remaking some furniture slowly, one item one day at a time, and it's fun. I don't buy or trade with other players, so my collections (at home or at the museum) are not complete and I look forward to acquiring more items. Every day's a new day and playing my game relaxes me. I played Wild World for 3 years before I retired it. I know I'll be playing NL for at least a year, but very likely for even longer than that.
