Amiibo Card is not working?

Hi Guys,

what could be the problem why my amiibo card is not working?

i got the full service center
i got the campsite
i invited someone form the campsite to my island
i got a original card, not a fake one

Cards form: Nat & Grams

pleaseee help meeee <3

When you say its not working what do you mean?
Does it tell you you don't have an amiibo?
Or does it recognise there is an amiibo but won't let them come to the campsite?
I assume the card is of a villager and not an npc?

If there is someone at the campsite right now who you asked to move in already, you won't be able to bring someone else to the campsite today.
You will have to wait until tomorrow

This has happened to me once or twice. If you have a screenshot of what exactly the game is telling you then that would be really helpful. Make sure the card is in good condition- any bending in it can affect its effectiveness. I generally just scan on different angles until it works when this happens. Are you scanning it on the right side? (with the picture of the character facing upwards towards you).

So when i put the card on my joy-con, it recognises my card and it shows the Name of the villager.
But if I accept the request, an error message appears.

when someone is at the campsite i am even asked if i want this villager to move out of the campsite....

Ah I get you.
Those 2 are special NPC characters that can't come to the campsite or harvs island. I dont think they have models in the game.
I belive if you scan them you can then buy their posters from the terminal however.

Nat and Grams aren't in the game. All you can do is scan their cards when you're at Harv's island to get their posters. That's it. They have no other function.
