Hey! So I just wanted to see how much the packs of cards are where you are. In my nearest stores they are ?3.50 but In most UK stores I think they are ?5.00. I think they are worth it, but I don't have many because of the price. What do you guys think? :):D

In the US theyre about 5.99 per pack of 6 cards. Its decent because it comes out to be around $1 and some change per card which isn't too bad.

I can only find them for ?3.50 in the UK in Argos. Everywhere else they're ?5. I'm not willing to pay ?5 for 3 cards frankly, especially considering NA get 6 for $5.99...
I don't even know where those retailers got ?5 RRP from, they're ?3.50 in Nintendo's online store too. It's pretty ridiculous in comparison to most other places.

The average price for a single card (eBay and Craigslist) for a "known" card, is $2.00 in the U.S.

Can you use the American cards? I dont think theyre region locked right? Maybe you can find a good price on ebay or Amazon because scalpers are ridiculous trying to charge double! I paid double for 3 packs of Japanese series 2 before i knew they only had 3 cards

But that is normal? We pay double the price you have to pay for less! It's normal, deal with it, because we have to too.

What? She's saying she accidentally paid double the actual price for the cards because she didn't know they had 3 in a pack (thought they had six). Card prices in Japan are the same as the US: ~300 yen per pack, or around 100 yen/$1 per card, but she paid ~$6 for a pack, if I remember correctly. It's only the EU that has to pay more.

the cheapest for a 3card pack in europe would be amazon.es at 3,90€. everywhere else it costs more i think..

a dollar a card ain't so bad, if they were actually worth it // weren't extra of something u already actually have :/

WHAT! Omg i need to check this out since i have to pay at least 8 euros for 3 cards which is outrageous imo. amiibo figures cost 12 euros so it's really weird how they priced it.

Importing is costly itself because you have to pay shipping and if you buy more than two packs your order risks getting charged import tax on top of that. I looked into importing from the US when I first found out what the prices were going to be like in Europe and then realised that in the grand scheme of things importing doesn't really change the price at all.

I've bought from the Nintendo Store twice but I mainly buy from Argos as there is one within walking distance of my flat. Both sell the cards for ?3.49.
