Amiibo Cards at target 12.99

I just wanted to signal boost that anyone that planned on going to target to purchase amiibo cards the significsnt price difference as opposed to other retailers

Im pretty sure since the amiibo figures go for about 12.99 somebody making the prices just saw amiibo amd thought hey 12.99 for these anyway they have a price match policy so just show them prices at other retailers to get your moneys worth

Update- someone on tumblr just messaged me saying they were in target and they were putting up price stickers that said 6.99 for it so it's most likely a mis price probably but just incase

I ordered the Amiibo Cards from Amazon. (Limit: 4.)

I'm sick with cold/flu/upper respiratory deal. So, with tomorrow's release of "Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer," I don't know how much I'll be in the mood for it this coming weekned. (I have the game on reserve at Game Stop; so I will have to pick it up.)

I'm sick with cold/flu/upper respiratory deal. So, with tomorrow's release of "Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer," I don't know how much I'll be in the mood for it this coming weekned. (I have the game on reserve at Game Stop; so I will have to pick it up.)

Man Target sure is a rip off when it comes to buying amiibo cards. Hopefully I can be able ot buy some at GameStop since they have it for 5.99 each. I might be able to buy like 3 packs or 5 if I am lucky enough once they are available to get XD.

Surely it must be a mistake?

After all the very nice employee I talked to last night did not know much about the Amiibo - he didn't even have a price tag to hang on the wall but he had all the other price tags.

I'm still worried that some mom is going to go out tomorrow while their child is in school and she is going to complain that the cards are 12.99.

Exactly I'm sure the price will drop eventually, I've learned not to ask any employees at stores about games don't get me started when I tried to get splatoon at Walmart lol

I exclusively buy games at GameStop or Amazon at the moment, so those prices shouldn't be an issue. Hopefully it's just a mistake due to the regular amiibo prices, and the normal ones are reflected upon release. Or maybe they have some weird deal with packs that are larger than normal, wouldn't that be something (I can dream).

I pre-ordered the game from Amazon and also ordered four packs of US amiibo cards from them, and both have been shipped and will be on my doorstep tomorrow. So at least I won't have to buy them in person. I won't get a poster, but I didn't especially want it anyway.

I looked at the cards on Target's website, and decided I will wait. One website (was it target or bestbuy?) limits you to one pack and that isn't enough for free shipping.

I went into GameStop today to pay for the rest of my preorder and the man told me he had 2 of the new ds in but unfortunately I don't have the money to buy

I will have to let a few days pass.

And I did get a couple hours' additional sleep.

Tomorrow, I intend to be in and out of my area Game Stop. It's less than ten minutes' drive from my house. I already put a deposit of $5.00 toward it. (Cash.) I already have the poster. And, in a way, I'm glad I chose Game Stop because I won't have to go deeply into a store like Target or Best Buy.

Amazon does limit one to purchasing no more than four [4] Amiibo Cards sets. Amazon claims that the limit is set that way. Given how I feel, I won't argue. And $5.99 (USD) for six [6] Amiibo Cards may be a good deal. (I don't know for sure.) And I don't know how much I'll need Amiibo Cards when I'm just starting out with playing "Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer."

I am on Amazon Prime. I placed the order today. It says that it doesn't come out until tomorrow [Friday, September 25, 2015], and that the estimated delivery date for me is next Tuesday [September 29, 2015]. So, okay, that's not too much longer.
