I just bought these third-party amiibo cards from Amazon that I have read a bunch of good reviews about and double checked with others. They check out and work. But when I invite the amiibo to my island, they aren’t there the next day. I think I may have caused a glitch in the game by traveling back to my present day before the amiibo villager arrived the following day. Any ideas how to fix it? I’ve even reset the amiibo and cleared any data it may have had. Or anyone run into a similar issue? I even tried inviting another villager that I hadn’t invited prior to traveling back but still no luck. Please help lol. This is my first experience with amiibo cards and want to know if I should maybe return them and get new ones?

You have to invite an amiibo to your campsite and craft whatever they ask for three times before they will ask to move in
sometimes you have to talk to them like four times on the thrid day to get them to ask too.

They just aren’t showing up at all. I’ve done a lot of research and haven’t came across this issue before. Like I’m inviting them and they say they’re coming. But no sign of them the next day.

They should be showing up the same day you invite them, not the next day
Hm, is it supposed to be immediate? Or like in a few hours? Cause I didn’t see anyone right after I invited them. Sorry if these are stupid questions lol I just haven’t used amiibo before.

They show up (at your campsite) immediately after you invite them. It's okay, sounds like a peculiar issue. lol
