Amiibo Reader Question!

So I finally getting my amiibo reader and my first 2 packs of cards, because I really want to design the special people's houses and I got Tortimer with my game so I wanted to get some cards too. Well what I was wondering is if you have the NA game can you scan JP cards into your game or will it only allow you to scan in NA cards? I am wondering because I hope to get a card with the DLC on it from Japan and it would be pointless if it wouldn't scan in.

Yes, amiibo cards are not region locked.

I have a NA 3ds/game/reader and both JP & NA cards. All the cards will work. I also have a JP Villager Amiibo & it also works.

That is great to hear! I really want to get the DLC that isn't available and I am so glad they made the feature to load items onto the cards!
