I invited Julian over with an amiibo card, but even with the plot he still told me no. I thought amiibo villagers automatically moved in. I don't want another villager to move in on my plot. I spent 10k bells to get the plot for Julian and he won't move. How come it's not working. I want Julian, not another villager. :(

Edit: Apparently I can't

Does anyone have any of my dreamies?

Have you invited Julian to your campsite three times? He should agree to move in on his third visit.

But the game doesn't tell you that. :/
I didn't know that would happen. Is there a way to tear down a plot? That spot was supposed to be for Julian.

Has the plot been sold to another villager? That might happen if you have less than nine villagers.

It hasn't been sold yet. I have 6 villagers. It might get in the way of me getting Julian. It's so annoying.

You need to have him visit 3 times and make the things he asks for you,
if a villager you don't like moves there don't worry because you can just make julian ask them to move out.

Sadly, no way to tear town the plot. I made the same mistake. You'll have to wait for whoever gets that spot to move out, or choose another spot for him.

They'll only agree to move-in in their third visit. ):

Just went through this with Diana. I had 9 in, and no plot open. After the 3 days, I had to put down another for her to move in and the option to kick another villager didn't seem to pop out because I was not capped? Maybe I didn't try enough. But If you put another plot after 3 days, you can still invite him.

Amiibo campsite villagers can force out other villagers?

But as far as I've heard (not experienced myself), Julian will move-in, but the house exterior (and interior?) will remain the same, when you kick villagers out.

Yeah,it's possible that another villager will claim that plot while Julian is doing his three visits. If that happens you can set up another plot and try again but don't set up the plot until the day of Julian's third visit...I think that should work. Also,I believe you can move your villager's houses.

Yes that sadly is true, I had punchy and kid cat move into an old house and the outside does not change

It kind of does tell you because he'll say "If you invite me more I may consider moving here." or something to that effect when he rejects you. Either way, if you have the max amount of villagers you'll still be able to invite him so there's no worries there.

No, this did not happen with me at all. I've invited 4 amiibo villagers, all of them have their own house exteriors and interiors. They did not carry over the previous inhabitant's house.

So it changes if you boot them out? Thank goodness! I didn't want Julian's exterior to be someone elses!
Are you sure the houses changed after you kicked the uglies out?

Yes, I am fairly certain. For example, I booted out Elvis with Roscoe, and Roscoe's house exterior is pretty much all dark and quite unique from Elvis's.

Thank god. That sounded scary. That person probably had villagers with similar looking houses, but not the same.

This is false. Many villagers share same house designs. However, several also do not.
I removed Soliel with Ankha via Amiibo and her house is different both inside and out.
