To win someone had to catch a Barreleye and show it to me. Juliet did so in the second quarter. The event was just over an hour.

Jon caught a Barreleye in the third quarter to take second place. He also caught 32 fist in the second quarter for 5,000 bells.

Trix and Juliet had two ties for most fish in a quarter, the first and third with 17 fish each. They split the two 5,000 bell prizes.

Trix had the most fish in the 4th quarter netting her the 5,000 bell prize.

How was the scoring possible?
I went to a time-travelers island a few days ago and bought a Timer from his Nook store. It times 3, 5, 10, or 15 minutes.

It reports at the end of time how many bugs or fish have been caught during timing.

And so we have Animal Crossing fishing and bug catching as an e-sport. Crazy.

There were six participants but only posting details on the people who won prizes.

There were also many prizes buried and placed on the map for contestants to pick up.

Great time - please host your own Animal Crossing e-sports!

That sounds fun but getting a barrel eye over a mackerel is completely left up to rng
