How many of you are going to abandon "City Folk" for "New Leaf"? Not enough time to play both games? :'-(

To be honest, I think City Folk was abandoned long ago by most members here.

I already stopped playing Animal Crossing: City Folk regularly around late 2011. There was too few players who were still playing this miserable game, and I should be ashamed that I spent 1600+ hours on it since December 2008.

I can definitely see why most members abandoned ACCF around mid-2010. The game hasn't done much to improve the franchise and the Wii wasn't designed to be played with this game in first place. Man, the motion controls and the IR pointer makes things a pain to endure.

I'm still going to be playing my ACCF town every day for a while still, although I won't be going on Wi-Fi as much as I used to.

I don't know. Depends. At least when the game first comes out, I will play NL alot. Depends on my mood. I have times where I will play nothing but AC, and times where I'll play nothing but a different game. Depends on what I am into at the moment.

I started a new town a few months ago, I think I'll still be playing it once or twice a week.

Like most everyone here, I gave up around...say, mid-2009? About a half a year after its release, I'd had enough of it. New Leaf is certainly going to be superior by all dimensions, but that doesn't mean City Folk was un-enjoyable. It was a definite step-up from Wild World, at least.

I play CF every now and then with my best friend, just to goof around, but when I get New Leaf, then I will play every day. I'll probably still play CF sometimes, but never by myself.

I admit, I haven't played CF for weeks, if not months. I probably would play more if th Wii was in my bedroom, but it's down in the living room and a hassle to everybody else for me to play it.

And the game was underwhelming.

I'll be ditching Wild World for New Leaf. :( I pray I get Teddy in my town.

Let's face it, Animal Crossing was always more suited to portable devices. The touch screen make inventory management easy, and you can play it alot more than you can on a console. Plus you can bring it on holiday so you don't miss events etc. TBH, I got LGTTC, Played it for like 2 months then I gave up. Not enough of a step up.

I agree on all accounts.

I just stopped last month. I do miss playing this game though, but I hope I will make new memories next week onwards.
Though I will really miss the 8PM music... my dad used to always whistle to it.
