Whats your worst ever ac moment? Could be your worst mistake or an awful person or a glitch but just... whats the one thing that happened to you in ac that you never want to happen again?

For me, I invited someone to my town to clear out weeds with me and he hacked in rocks in front of houses and train station and main strt and then put rotten fruit, those big ugly red fly things and more rocks everywhere - the problem was by the time i noticed i couldnt save ??????? it was hell... eventually the guy was banned from the server it was on and i had a lot of the hackers on the server helping me fix my town (as well as my amazing friends who helped clear the fruit and pre existing weeds too!) but i didnt let anyone in my town for weeks after it was fixed ;// If im being honest idk how he did that cause ive only ever used town save editors nothing live like that which is a big oof

I haven't had anything like that happen to me, but I've had people say really rude things to me in Club Tortimer. I'm sorry that happened to you, it's honestly the worst when people take advantage of your trust.

oh wow i never had anything like that happen to me, the closest thing I ever had happen to hacking was a visit to club tortimer.

I just collected a bunch of rare stag beetles and was chatting with someone on the island. then the message bar saying " someone new is here " came up. we welcomed the new person but they just said " give me bells or I reset. " I was confused, but we both gave in and gave them 1k bells. i tried to leave the island by sneaking away,( we were all outside ) but the island wouldn't let me, the bar showed up and then faded, we both tried a little while later but they kicked us out with a resseti screen. i lost my full bad of stags and they lost whatever was in their bag.

Luckily I haven't had any incidents with players hacking my town. I only really let in people from here with a good rating, so hopefully it can stay that way. My worst moment was probably when Lolly moved away. She had been in my old town for years and had been my favorite villager there. When she left I lost all interest in the game for about a year.

I picked up Annalise from someone's void unknowingly and her house was set in such a terrible spot. I ended up using an Amiibo card to boot her out ASAP.

Lost an original Chrissy to TTing. Managed to get her back, but she was in a horrible spot. Still kept her but then one day she was in boxes.

My old 3DS kept on shutting off randomly and I'd never know when I'd lose my progress, it was broken. So I had to get a new one because hours of gameplay kept on getting lost.

The worst thing that happened to me in AC was in October; during the Halloween Fishing Tourney in Pocket Camp, the game crashed on me. The game crashed a lot for me back then because my phone sucked, but this time was different, as when I restarted the game, it wouldn't let me get in past the start screen, claiming I didn't have a connection despite my phone being connected at the time. Restarting the phone and uninstalling/reinstalling the app didn't work, nor did any of the advice I found online, and all I got after emailing Nintendo for help was an unhelpful copy-pasted list of stuff I already told them I tried several times.

As a result, I was locked out of the game for over a month until I got a new phone entirely on Thursday and missed out on a lot of nice items, and now I can't help feeling behind.

There was also one time in CF when Francine told me she was moving and I told her to stay. Then the very next day she was in boxes. I have no idea why that happened, but I was devastated and it was one of the main reasons I stopped playing that game.

That used to always happen to me... maybe you should invest in Amiibos like I, so you can prevent it.

One moment that shocked me was when I visited a hacked dream town back then.
It was a giant mess, pretty hard to find a way between trees and rocks which were
so hacked that they stand in one another. Same with villager houses. Buildings like the
town hall and police station were squashed in one corner. And there was weed and trash
everywhere. The whole town looked like either a test town to testing out hacks or some
sort of a horror town. Anyway, when I found the way to the beach, my game started to
slow down, until it froze. The music still run, I tried to press any buttons but nothing
happened, not even the Home button wanted to work. I got a little bit panic because
I didn't knew what was going on at that point. I then had to press the Power botton
and luckily, this worked. When I then re-started my game, it worked everything normal
again, just got a visit from Resetti and that was it. I guess the game couldn't handle
those kind of hacks the person used on the town and crashed. Of course I didn't visit
this town again after that happened.

I think my worst moment was when I was like 10 or so years old, and I was playing wild world on my ds. The game notified me of my low battery life so I ran to get the charger upstairs. I didn't know that you could simply save by pressing start, so I didn't. When I came back downstairs my ds had shut down and I'd lost my progress.
This was the first time I was introduced to Resetti! The music terrified me and I didn't speak English well at all back then so I couldn't understand what he was saying. It took me legit half an hour to get him to go away and I was mortified to find all my progress gone as well.
I was so scared to play animal crossing after that. I think I saved nearly ever half hour to make sure something like that would never happen again lmao

Goodness. Having Penelope in my original town was a nightmare on its own, but that's not the story. So, when Aika Village (I think that's what that "creepypasta" so to speak) was popular, I decided I'd give it a visit. So I did just that. However! I didn't thoroughly do my research on what was in it before I went in, so I was p freaked out. That wasn't exactly the scary part. My 3DS started to get all hot and stuff, and the screen like froze. The music stopped and kept repeating the same note like scary fast, and that's when I decided I was done and tried to shut off my 3DS. Didn't work. So I shut it and left it to run out of battery. Isn't the scariest thing to happen but it was weird. I shouldn't have been surprised because my old DS had a glitch thing in regards to pokemon (victini is a demon), so maybe I'm just prone to glitches lmao

Ummm I?m sorry this has to be a lie, their is no possible way to ?hack? this way.
In order to use a save editor you have to have cfw on your 3ds, you have to put your save file on to the sd card. Then you use the online save editor. Powersaves you have to load the items into your game, then put it into your 3ds. This has to be a fake story cause I personally used to do those things. These are the type of stories that scare people.

My worst ACNL moment isn't that bad. I had invited a new member of TBT over to my town to play and he did multiple things including burying stuff all over my town then saying that I should pick it up myself because it is my town, he picked up a famous mushroom that I placed right in front of my house then ate it, even though I told him at the start to not pick up things without permission. The worst bit was that he lied behind my back about it then dropped about 100 bells in front of my house where the mushroom was and ran away to the station. I deleted his friend card and am thankful he didn't do more to my town.

Edit - He also gave me a negative rating for apparently being a jerk to him.

Ummm I’m sorry this has to be a lie, their is no possible way to “hack” this way.
In order to use a save editor you have to have cfw on your 3ds, you have to put your save file on to the sd card. Then you use the online save editor. sorry bro, but can confirm it happened to me lol. he obvi wasnt using a saveditor using sd card, i know how they work (additionally, my friend also had the same thing happen to her, but less seriously, just some rocks placed infront of her retail and town hall by some rando)

the way you describe hacking is a used method, but it's not the only one, there are much more dangerous tools out there

I feel this on a spiritual level because my cat peed on mine and now it's finicky as hell and I never know when it's gonna shut off but the really cool part is that when it does shut off it also resets my clock to January 1st 2016 so that's super fun and unique

It kind of sounds like that person managed to get a hold of ACNL seeds, Wild world had a problem like that but worse because it would literally brick someone's cartridge.
Mine would be when I first started playing and didn't realize you could get villagers to cancel moving, Wendy asked to move, I forgot when she was going to so I talked to her, she cancelled. I didn't care at first but then she asked again, she randomly decided to alert my other character that she was moving, so she then cancelled. It's been like 6 months now and she has still not yet asked to move again. I hate this sheep.

Well, if it's about worst ever AC moment, mine should be when I knew my ex ex was, j--king off while having porn talk in NL with some old lady who's morbidly obese.
But if it's about horror related to AC, I think this might be some horror? I have a few more 3DS consoles. And it starts to play opening music of NL at times, though it's close - sleep mode, not open. At first I wondered if that one had some strain at hinge or somewhere. But soon figured it's not just a certain 3DS that plays opening music but all other 3DS does that... Then I changed where I put them, thinking the desk where I put them must have the strain.
B u t. Regardless wherever I put them on, one of them certainly starts playing opening music... while it's close...
My friends say it's because of my passion to NL. According to them, part of my energy or spirit or whatever must be flooding my room and it must be making my 3DS play NL music. How do you think?
