Represent your team by joining us in an obstacle course race in Animal Crossing: New Horizons! Each race will only have one representative per team (4 users total). Secure your time slot by signing up using the Sign-up Form below. Be ready at least 5-10 minutes before your scheduled session and fly in once you receive the Dodo Code which will be provided on this thread. The island you'll be looking for is called chotopia; resident representative is wootginyan. The group will wait a maximum of 10 minutes after the expected start time for all users to join. Once you've arrived, please wait patiently by the starting line for the remaining members to join.
Before arriving:
- Do not wear a wand transformation outfit.
- Bring a ladder and vaulting pole.
- Leave the rest of your pockets empty!
During the course:
- The start of the race is signaled when the party popper has been popped.
- Follow signs along the obstacle course that are marked on the ground.
- You will be required to change outfits, use tools, and interact with other objects on the map. Do not pick up items that are not meant for you or pick up more items than necessary. For example, the first obstacle will have a line of clothes laid out for each racer; don't grab another racer's items. Obstructing another racer's ability to complete the race fairly is a serious offense, and you will be penalized from certain aspects of the entire TBT World Championships event.

- See spoiler below for details of the course so you don't feel lost! Feel free to skip if you like the surprise.
- You will start at the designated team color starting point. Keep in mind your team's color as it is important for later.
- The first obstacle requires you to change clothes at each interval where it is written "WEAR ITEM" on the ground.
- The second obstacle is the neighborhood maze. Work your way through to the third obstacle.
- The third obstacle requires you to use a ladder to climb up to a platform. Jump between platforms to reach the other side. You may need to pull out a vaulting pole depending on your pathing.
- The fourth obstacle is the split path. Spin the wheel to determine your path (skull or flower). If there's a discrepancy between the wheel result of the player and host, the host will determine the path from their POV. Spin again if it lands on the line. The ground will be clearly marked for each path you need to follow with arrows.
- The fifth obstacle is a mix of climbing walls and vaulting over water.
- The sixth obstacle is hopping over small platforms.
- The seventh obstacle requires you to pick up a DIY recipe (learn it if needed). Check the recipe and then grab the materials needed to craft that DIY in the following maze. Once you are out of the maze, craft the item at the DIY station.
- The eighth obstacle requires you to find your way through blocked paths.
- The ninth obstacle requires you to find one hidden item in a forest. There will be an image of the item you need to find.
- The tenth obstacle will be a line of color-coded beds you need to roll over.
- The eleventh obstacle requires you to drop your DIY crafted item and item found in the forest in the color-coded stall. The area will be clearly marked.
- The final part will be crossing the finish line, but don't forget to pull the flag to finish!
After course completion:
- Wait patiently for every racer to complete the obstacle. Do not leave or end the session or you will be disqualified.
- Once everyone is finished, the winners will take a quick group photo!
- Please leave all extra items collected during the course on the beach. The designated area will be marked.
- Do not circumvent the obstacle course in any manner. You should follow the general path and perform any actions required before proceeding to the next area.
- Do not record or share parts of the course with others.
- In the event of a DC (disconnect) by "quietly leaving," the disconnect user should not re-join and forfeit the chance to earn points for that round.
- If you're uncertain about your availability or internet connection stability, request a substitute from your teammates ahead of time. Coordinate with your team if you need to swap time slots as well.
- You may participate in this course more than once for your team, however priority will go towards those who have not participated yet.
- Multiple participation by the same user will result in less points per placement. Does not apply if you DCed during your first participation.
- Failure to comply with the rules may result in disqualification.
- Standard sportsmanship rules apply. Be respectful to everyone!
