I am excited but disappointed about the delay. I was hoping they wouldn't but I guess all the signs of a delay were true.

The game looks very interesting. I just hope that this island is really big. I wish we could have seen the map. I'm not against the island concept but I am hoping that is big enough so that it doesn't feel like I'm on island all the time.

i think we should just be happy it's not a party game and it definitely doesn't seem to be oriented like pocket camp. i think it's actually gonna be a full animal crossing game.

kinda bummed honestly it's looking to be everything i didn't want it to be w/ crafting and crops and the theme and stuff, and i kinda hate how it looks. it's definitely very beautiful looking but i don't like the hair, the weird pupils they added, the water, the general like... look of the greenery? like the grass and trees and stuff? maybe i'm just being nitpicky and stuck up in nearly 6 years of playing new leaf but i think i'm always going to prefer the look of all the other games. i feel like pocket camp looks more like how i wanted.

i'm still gonna buy it cuz it's animal crossing and i've been really excited for it but i feel let down :c (especially since we likely aren't gonna get another for years and years after this)

i highly doubt they'd leave us in a tent. it is a getaway after all, we're supposed to be comfy. and with house designing being one of the main parts of past games, we'll for sure be able to get one.

I am cautiously optimistic. This looks like it has the potential to be a good game, but I'm far less certain of that than I was about New Leaf. I guess we'll just have to wait and see...

Pretty sure we get more than a tent, they showed off others houses and we just start in a tent like new leaf, + if its like every other game that pretty penny of a bill nook hands us will just grow over time XD

i'm happy about everything, as long as they don't rely on pocket camp integration too much. i'm fine with importing items and stuff but i want this to be a separate game from pc and not a side by side game.

Allot of people felt like that about new leaf, though nobody can say for certain that this game is good or bad, what is certain is that it's going to at least be a big game, animal crossing has never really shrunk with each release, even pocket camp (the spinoff for phones) has a metric ton of furniture to make up for its small space. The only game that really got "smaller" was wild world, but that game makes up for it in so many ways that it amazed everyone, I feel like that's what the switch is gonna do. With crafting allot more can be done, and besides, im not the only person who wanted to make a banana split or diced apples for decor/food right? (just guessing they are gonna do this because pocket camp has similar stuff). + I've been wanting crops back since wild world (remember the red turnip farms?). Each game is a gimmick, and this one is looking like my dream XD Now please excuse my little blurb there :3

I'm so happy! I was kind of taken aback by the crafting thing and how different everything seemed but the more I look at it the more I like it. I love the island setting.
