It will be sometime after the mobile game gets released so it won't be a launch title. Hopefully, it will be the start of the 4th generation of Animal Crossing (Doubutsu no Mori/Animal Forest was the start of generation 1, Wild World started generation 2 and New Leaf started generation 3). I really hope it would be fully 3D since I think the rolling-log effect has kinda outstayed its welcome. Also, I hope that the town is bigger than the ones in generation 1 since the size of New Leaf's towns was very disappointing. They should add a mountain that you can climb too and the feature to let a villager take a walk with you but only if they feel like it. They shouldn't go too overboard with the town size though, otherwise it would be too difficult to maintain a perfect town. A dream feature of mine would be to give every villager their own personalities and backstories instead of shared personalities though that would never happen as it would take forever to implement all of the different personalities and backstories.
