I guess it was a new employee who didn't know better? But yeah definitely wild because people actually bought the games from him/her. & probably walmart, they usually screw things up.. no offense. Flippers are making a killing.

wow that's so intense of a mess up o: idk if the physical copies would work but i would think so- that being the case, they can easily leak out lots of information now if they wanted
Someone in my area did the exact same thing, they had 2 copies accidentally sold to them and they sold both for $200 each - they had 3 switch consoles they were selling as well. I find it incredibly scummy but whatever

I think we're talking about the same person! They were selling 3 switches as well with a bunch of ac cases and such. But I agree, with as much as people want the console or couldn't get one. I'd be extremely bummed if I didn't get lucky at my walmart.

Welp my pre-order has been a nightmare with Walmart. Ultimately resulted in corporate having to take down documentation on the store.
So, I'll probably get my switch but who knows when. Honestly regret not through another company. Feels bad so many got them without a preorder too. XD Should have just waited for midnight night of.
But grats to all who got them with and without preorder!

Seriously, $200 is ludicrous, and the fact people actually bought it just to play a week early?? I feel bad for the new employee though. I hope they don’t face any repercussions if someone finds out they sold it early.

breaking the street date is a BIG deal. someone is definitely going to pay. if that employee is found out they are in big big trouble and probably will not get to keep their job.

agreed - i’m desperate to play but not $200 desperate. i feel bad for the employee, too, but i don’t get how they could’ve accidentally sold it to a customer - the game isn’t on shelves yet and shouldn’t they of been informed of game release dates? but like jim said, if they get caught they’ll likely be in big trouble.

I got both from Target. They also have Isabelle, Tom Nook, and Resetti plushies. They weren't out on the shelves yet, but they aren't street dated, so an employee might be able to check the back room for you.
So cute! My dog would just eat them though. He sees every stuffed animal as a toy. I would love a Bob, Stitches, or Tangy. I didn’t even think about the case when I went and got my switch in the morning and then yesterday evening my friend and I went to buy extra controllers and I snagged one of two cases left. Honestly, I think the wait for the game is even worse for me now that I have the Switch. I didn’t think I would get one and had my mind set that I wouldn’t get to play until April 3 when the Coral Switch Lite comes out (that was my backup system if I didn’t the the ACNH Switch)
