Animal Crossing Wild World Wii U Virtual Console

Anyone thinks its coming to wii u? It's going to be wonky with save states (travel back in time but it would stay the same time) If it does come out later it's gonna be my summer game again

Exactly. They still havnt out out any of the main pokemon games on gameboy virtual console, so I have no hope for very popular games to come on Wii U DS virtual console

I don't know. To be honest, unlike Zelda games where each chapter tells a different story and is driven by different game concepts, Animal Crossing games are really just one game being reworked and updated each time so once you have the latest game, there really is no incentive or reason why you would play the previous one. The experience will be pretty much the same, but just... not as good, with less items, worst graphics and less profound gameplay. If they come out with an Animal Crossing game, I think they would come out with Animal Crossing: City Folk since there are no home console Animal Crossing to be played right now (while the 3DS has New Leaf and with New Leaf, there is no reason to dumb down your experience and go back to Wild World, like there is no reason for an iPhone 6 user to go back to an iPhone 3G).

I agree with this. Though even with all the good points you mentioned, it would still be a very Nintendo type thing to do if they did release it. Though there will be a lot of other DS games they bring out before they get to AC:WW I'm sure.

I do hope they release City Folk on Virtual Console, especially if they don't plan on releasing a Wii U version. However, if they are releasing a Wii U game, then I doubt they'll put City Folk on there as not to confuse people looking for the new game. Just like I doubt you'll see Mario Kart Wii or Smash Brawl for a long time, if ever.
