Nintendo president Satoru Iwata has announced during Nintendo?s fiscal call that they will release Fire Emblem, Brain Age, Lego City, and the long-awaited Animal Crossing: New Leaf by mid year. Nintendo has been hesitant about revealing a release date for Animal Crossing: New Leaf, but by the sounds of it the game should be coming to the west in the summer.

Thoughts?

any sign of the AC themed 3DS XL ?

besides that, at maximun we should have a five month weight. sweet! n_n

also, your source please?
most of those are coming out in a few months, now that i think about it. not sure about lego city.

Do not post gif replies. They add no contribution to the thread, they are essentially spam.

This really isn't new news, but it's not the thread creator's fault, it's Nintendo's fault for giving us the same information over and over again.

I hope my post didn't come off as if it was to the thread creator. It was directed towards Nintendo.

Again - it doesn't say 'will be here by summer' it says 'should be here by summer'

like we didn't already know this though

This is the actual quote from Iwata... He never said it was coming in the summer. Instead he said in the first half of the year meaning before summer. (January-June)

To export the momentum to the overseas markets, we plan to actively release our key titles for Nintendo 3DS which could potentially lead the markets this year.
"Pok?mon X/Pok?mon Y," to be launched in October worldwide, could be the most-anticipated one and "Animal Crossing: New Leaf," released in Japan last year, will be available in the first half of this year.

The blog post linked in the OP is very misleading, it was never said it was coming in the summer.
