Animal Portraits

Not sure if this has been discussed...

One of my favorite parts of WW was collecting animals' portraits. You would get them when an animal felt close to you as a neighbor, but there were no specific guidelines - making that much more rewarding when you would get them.

Is this still going to happen in CF?

The Prime guide has many errors and problems. The Nintendo Power one for WW was much better.

I'm guessing that they are back, there isn't a reason to remove them.

but like item wise. for example, since you can transfer catalogs from acww to accf, then the item has to be obtainable in accf. so that means pictures are obtainable.

hmm. i feel like the portraits didn't actually show up in the catalog...

i agree that the prima guide seems a bit.. lacking. in the WW guide, i believe they included an animal quote along with their birthday, and the quote matched what was written on the back of the portrait.

the prima guide doesn't have these, which could mean 1) there are no portraits in CF, 2) there are portraits but no quotes, or 3) prima wasn't dedicated enough / didn't have the resources to find out what was written on the portraits.

BUT. i did notice the CF animals run over to you sometimes just like in WW, and that's when you had a chance to get a portrait. so i assume that's how we'll find out.

it's almost been a month - does anyone have any portraits? is it still a possibility they kept them?
