Are there any specific animal you’d hope become a villager or NPC in a later game?

Even tho there’s a whole heap of animals that were chosen to represent the villagers or npcs, there are still a few that have not. What are some animals you’d hope be one day be a villager or NPC? Or just any you think would fit in a certain job?

I think bilbies would be cute, maybe a duo of a greater bilby and a lesser bilby would be adorable! Not sure what they’d do, but I’m a fan of bilbies and the appearance of dodos might imply the lesser bilbies are still around. Perhaps the Tasmanian tigers and passenger pigeons, too!

I also like the ideas of bats, too, would be interesting. But snakes would also be a somewhat interesting concept, they’d need to find a way to have this character do things without hands.

I think having shark villagers would be cool. There are a ton of different species so there would be a lot of creative room to work with. It would also be cool if animal crossing did a collaboration with another brand and had villagers that were actual characters from said brand. That's probably a pipedream though because I could only imagine how much it would cost them to use different IPs.

I would love it if bat villagers were added, and reptiles would be fun too, heck why not add squids as well!
