I would love if animals had more of a relationship together. Like i know some like each other and you see them talk and since together but i dont feel its as much. But just have more interaction together
That title... had me so worried.
But I'd also love for villagers to have determined relationships with each other that could possibly change over time! It really felt like the weakest part of the realism, because you can form bonds with the villagers, but they barely acknowledge each other besides, "Oops! I got his package by accident ):"
But I agree, it would be cool to see actual villager friendships. Also, I don't know if this is just me personally, but my villagers never seemed to talk to one another despite always being next to each other (I heard this has to do with karma in New Leaf but I'm unsure).
Lol sorry i like making titles different to draw people in!
In my new leaf game i never caught then talking like ever which sucked. I would see peoples videos of them mad at each other and you trying to pick a side or whatever, it never happened with me
I know this wasn't what your thread was about but there's a wedding arch thing in pocket camp so I wouldn't be surprised if the switch version had it so idk if that means animal villagers would be able to have romantic relationships with each other (rated E of course)
I've really wanted relationships between the animals! They always mention friendships between them but it's just random dialogue that has no actual merit. Like "Etoile and Fauna seem really close, they always talk" or something like that, but it's not actually true. The next dialogue they say could be exactly the same but with the names switched up. I just want to see the animals actually hanging out with each other, having a best friend and a rival, having fights where you would have to intervene and try to fix it. Maybe the dialogue options for the mayor could actually have some effect when you talk to them in the middle of their conversation, cuz as it is, no matter what option you pick, the conversation will still end up in the same place usually. I'm not sure I actually want any romantic relationships between them, or weddings.. That's just weird to me, but I can get behind them having crushes on each other or flirting a little bit. I just want the animals to interact with each other and the world more! As it is, they're kind of just walking decorations.
The Animal Crossing movie said that Apollo and Whitney used to date, so I certainly wouldn't mind having other animals express interest in one another. It'd certainly add more life to the game.
I agree, I think that interaction together would bring the game to life even more. There was a tiiiiiiny bit of this in New Leaf, so hopefully they expand on it for NH!
That would be interesting. They could have a couple of different categories. They could have animals that are best friends with each other, so they're always talking, hanging out at each other's houses, and mention the other a lot. They could have animals that hate each other and talk smack about each other all the time. Then there could be rivals. This would go really well with, for example, multiple jocks. They might want to compete against each other all the time to decide who is the strongest or whatever else.
This is one feature I'm least confident about, because I feel like it would require a lot of work thanks to a lot more extra dialog. People would love it, but it's just a time-intensive feature to put in. The team could see something like that as lower priority, unfortunately.
i have ALWAYS wanted more out of the interactions, and if this game disappoints i'm going to be very upset. i want the villagers hanging out together, maybe even getting into relationships together, heck... just anything. sometimes it feels like i've got a bunch of zombies in my village i just want them to interact more i-
