Good evening, my friends. Or morning, or afternoon, depending on what part of the world you're in. And I'm rambling again...

Today's slice of my town is most likely the first thing my visitors will see when they exit the train station. Here we have the area that connects my train station with my town plaza. I'm a sucker for symmetry, and when I saw that my plaza and train station were just a short distance from one another, I thought, why not connect the two somehow? So over time, I laid out some paths, and painstakingly arranged a fountain and two street lamps as neatly as I could in the area in-between. I still think it's a miracle Isabelle let me place it all so neatly together. Later, I lined it with bushes to complete the "park" feel. To this day, it's one of the things I'm most proud of about my town.

On my walk around town today, I saw Eugene was home, so I popped in on him--with a search warrant, of course. He asked me to pick him a cherry, and even though I still think he's up to something, I agreed. Good thing there are cherry trees everywhere in my town. To thank me, he gave me a sleek lamp...just like the one he has in his house. I'm not complaining, as I love the sleek series, but couldn't he be a little less...predictable? Right outside, Apollo asked me to buy a calm painting he'd gotten his wings on. Since I already had a calm painting in my museum anyway, I declined, but he fortunately understood. In addition, he had a present for Rosie that was sent to his house by mistake. Seriously, how does Pete get these deliveries mixed up so much? The town population is like 11, for God's sake! But still, I agreed to make the delivery. Rosie was right by the town hall, and was happy to receive the snow shirt she ordered (a little late for that, though, isn't it?). As thanks, she gave me a dice stereo. Punchy pinged me later, and he tried to let me know he's moving on the 28th. Yeah, you're not going anywhere, Punchy. He later commented on the rumor that I'm a pro listener...which my villagers have literally been saying about me forEVER. Find something else, for the love of rumor mills!!! Astrid was near Punchy, and said she'd found the big bro's tee I wanted. I had no idea what she was talking about, but it was nice to get a gift nonetheless. After a bit more flower-watering, I saw Saharah, and thought I'd give her services a shot today. I paid the 3,000 bells and took her back to my house, where she gave me a rococo wall and a closed road. The road is an exclusive, I think, and I needed it for my catalog nonetheless, so it looks like my money was well spent.

After changing back to my old wallpaper and carpet, I headed to Re-Tail to sell my newly received treasures, and found that Reese was paying premium for wallpaper today. I also saw that Lolly had put her minimalist table up for sale, and that means we're one step closer to restoring her house to semi-nice condition. This also reminded me to visit the store in search of a birthday gift for her, but I sadly found nothing. I have only 4 days left to find her a perfect gift...not gonna lie, I'm starting to get worried. Continuing my walk about town, the money rock was an ore rock again today, and gave me a nice gold nugget along with my troubles! I made sure to save it for Cyrus to (hopefully) make me some furniture I need once I get two more. Later, Al pinged me, and my heart came up in my throat for a second before remembering that Punchy had pinged me to move earlier. No, he just wanted me to have his old clothesline pole. You're giving me laundry? What do I look like, your maid or something? Do your own laundry! Walker was at home, and he wanted me to catch him a butterfly, so I took literally about ten seconds to go outside, catch a yellow butterfly that was flying by, and head back into his house. Despite his utter laziness, he seemed happy to get the bug. As thanks, he gave me...a moldy shirt.

NO, I DON'T LIKE IT, YOU UNGRATEFUL LITTLE...

Mira reminded me of something I'd already read on the bulletin board earlier: there was a meteor shower tonight! I made a note to remember to turn the game back on later on. I sadly couldn't find Savannah today, but on a happier note, as I checked my hybrids today, I found ANOTHER blue rose! Well, this time I did use fertilizer, but still...2 blue roses in 2 days? What are the odds? I promptly added it to my rose rainbow.

After heading off to do real-life things, I made darn sure to turn the game back on tonight to catch the meteor shower. I made a few wishes, so Wishy should be sending me something in the mail tomorrow.

And that was basically my day today. I'm glad I got a few things for my catalog today, as well as another blue rose, and after getting the Weeding badge yesterday, it feels like I'm making some real progress. That's it for today! Tomorrow, I'll show you an area down south that I think is hecka cute. Bye!

The more I see of your town, the more charming I think it is. The park connecting your train station and plaza is just the spot to stop and enjoy the sun, maybe a few butterflies, and a to-go coffee. :)

Quite the haul from your villagers. It's always nice when you are able to check off a number of items from the catalog. Then again, the clothesline pole and moldy shirt aren't exactly fashion forward. At least they didn't cost you any bells in the store.

That's awesome that you got another blue rose; you'll have to take another picture once you get the final blue and gold roses.

Hope Wishy brings you something nice. Can't wait to see what you have to show us in the southern part of town.

As another sucker for symmetry, I must say your park area is very pleasing to the eyes. Great placement with the bushes. ^^ You should put a bench nearby! Somewhere that doesn't mess up your balance too much, of course.

Gosh, sometimes I wonder how in the world Sahara can think some things go together. That Rococo Wall looks positively terrible with the Closed Road. I don't care what she says, the future definitely does NOT need that. :p
