Evening, people!
I played a little bit last night, and nothing really noteworthy happened. However, while I was organizing some stuff in my storage in my house, Apollo popped in to visit. At least he didn't see me changing clothes or anything. He gave me a piece of candy when I talked to him again (even though it's nowhere near Halloween...), and after sticking around a couple more minutes, he headed out.

As I exited my house this morning, I had three letters in the mail: one from Astrid and one from Punchy, each with a gift attached, and one from Walker, saying he has a canker sore and it hurts to eat. Poor little guy... I looked all around for him, but I couldn't find him anywhere around his house, so I set off to water my flowers and dig up any fossils I could find. Everything looked slightly deserted as I walked around town...no one was even in their house! As I got to where my illuminated tree, I saw Al, and he pinged me. My heart jumped a little. Could this be the day? Nope; he said he had a package for Astrid that got delivered to his place by mistake. For Astrid's sake, I agreed to take it to her. I just wish I could have spread a rumor that Al stole it out of her mailbox... Checking the bulletin board, I saw that Weeding Day is on the 27th. Only 10 more days before I can reinstate my Beautiful Town ordinance! By the bridge, I saw a much more welcome face than Al's: Rosie. She wanted me to come over to her house later, and we set a time for 12PM, which I hoped I could remember. I stopped in Re-Tail to sell some random things, and I also checked turnip prices just for curiosity's sake. They were only 67 bells this morning, so I guess it's a good thing I sold when I did. I soon found Astrid by the playground, and delivered her gift to her. However, just like yesterday, it was a gift she ordered to give to me! I opened up my new rugby tee, and while I think it looks pretty nice, I opted to keep my blue letter jacket on.

Savannah was nearby, and she wanted me to help with her new petition, "Go Nuts for Nuts". However, as I didn't plan to visit any other towns today, I unfortunately had to say no. Later, Rosie pinged me, and gave me an extra spring tee she said she'd found. After this, I headed up to Main Street, first stopping at the post office to mail off some letters and deposit the Bells from my turnip-selling. My balance topped 37,500,000 Bells...only 62,500,000 to go until the Gold Bell saver badge. Afterwards, I hit T&T Emporium, where I found Apollo. He said it was hard just to look, and not buy anything. I know the feeling, buddy. I found a cushion for my catalog, but not much else. It was getting close to noon, so I headed back across the railroad tracks to meet with Rosie. Savannah pinged me, wanting to know if I would buy a round clock. It wasn't an insanely high price, so I took it, then headed off to meet Rosie. She was waiting for me, and the visit could begin.

She asked if I wanted to buy anything, and I ended up buying the two-ball tee out of the corner of her house. Of course, now there's a big empty space in the back right corner, so I'll need to work on that. After chatting some more, I headed out, telling Rosie her house was indeed fabulous.
I headed around town some more to see if I could find any villagers I hadn't talked to today. I soon found Eugene in his house, and he wanted to know if I could get him a pear. I agreed, and brought one back to him, which he seemed to enjoy. As thanks, he gave me a paper tiger. Since I hadn't worked there in a while, I decided to head to the Roost, and that's where I found Walker! Guess he's trying to rinse his mouth out with hot coffee to make his canker sore better, the poor guy. He let me know he prefers mocha coffee, which I actually already had in my notes, but I guess it's good to hear it from the horse's mouth (dog's mouth?).
Roost spoilers ahead!
My first customer today was my hopefully-soon-to-be-ex-villager Al. I had no clue on what he liked, so I just gave him a blend with a lot of milk and 3 sugars just for the heck of it. It was apparently all correct except for the coffee beans. OK: next time, I'm giving him a blend, no milk, no sugar. I want to make his stay in town as miserable as possible from here on out.
Second up was Mira, who got her usual of Kilimanjaro, little milk, 1 sugar.
Third came Punchy, who I knew from my notes also likes Kilimanjaro, amazingly, with no milk or sugar! Maybe he eats so much sweet stuff, he drinks bitter coffee to counteract the taste? Regardless, it's what he likes, so I made my little perpetually hungry cat happy.
Finally, Tortimer came in, fresh from the island. I made his trip worthwhile by making him a Kilimanjaro (3 Kilimanjaros today!), with regular milk and 2 sugars.
After getting my superb coffee beans from Brewster, I turned the game off, coming back this evening to find Mira wanting to buy my round clock for 288 bells. I agreed, since I figured it might mean she'd get one of the bugs out of her house in place of it.
To finish off today, I'm going to give you guys pics of two possible places I might want my police station. The first one is to the right of my town plaza, right next to my east bridge. I may need to demolish the nearby instrument shelter and place it somewhere else to get the police station here, but I don't really mind doing that.

The second is on the opposite side of my town plaza, just in front of where my illuminated tree is now. I've been wanting to get rid of it for a while now, since I put it up mainly for Christmastime, and it looks kind of out of place now. It may be too close to the water here, so I may try experimenting with Isabelle someday to see if I can indeed make it work here.

There are 2 more places I would possibly like to have my police station, but they will be up tomorrow. With that, I bid everyone adieu!
