I'm back, with another look at how things have been going in Animalia! My work schedule has been packed lately, as I've either been working or been too tired to blog, but I've thankfully found a break to tell about what's going on.
Since the beginning of December, things in town have been picking up slightly. I've had Eugene, Lolly and Walker ask to move out, all of which I put a stop to. The shop has been selling holiday-themed furniture, and I've been working on collecting as much of it as I can so I can transform my Halloween room in the museum into a Christmas-themed room.
Animalia has had a string of interesting campers since the beginning of the month, including Lobo, who I'm fairly certain belongs to one of my blog readers, I'm just not sure who...anyhow, he was interesting, but I wouldn't have asked him to move in.

Ed was my final camper to use a tent in town. I have to say: in a game with talking animals, there's no fitting name for a talking horse than Ed. Again, he was okay, but I wouldn't have asked him into town even if I had the room.

Eugene had a package for Punchy he wanted me to deliver. I forget what my reward for doing so was, but Punchy really looks cute in his new spade tee.

On the 5th, it started snowing in my town for the first time! I have been waiting FOREVER for the snow to arrive, and I couldn't wait to see what it looked like when it covered the ground!

Apparently, Apollo and Eugene have been having some trouble with one another, since Apollo had a gift he'd bought Eugene, and wanted me to deliver it for him. I was glad to help make amends between the two, and ran it over to Eugene. What great gift did Apollo buy Eugene to try and extend an olive branch of friendship?

Yeah...I'm with you, Eugene. Apollo is not the greatest gift-giver in the world. Still, things seemed to be okay between the two of them, until a few days later, when...

Seriously? Just eat it, already!!
Oh, and you might notice that Eugene has changed into Mira's zap suit. I think it actually looks pretty good on him, so I decided to let him keep it on for a while. Besides, he has his original clothing in his house, so at least he's still got it to fall back on!
There was a meteor shower on the 8th, and I received a garden gnome from Wishy the Star in the mail as a reward for wishing on a star. On the 10th, I emerged from my house in the evening to find a major snowstorm going on, and on the following day, the whole ground was covered with snow!

Welcome back, my old friend! I've missed you!
Eugene wanted to play hide and seek in the snow, so I happily agreed. I found him, Lolly and Astrid quickly, and got a writing desk as thanks. Punchy unfortunately caught a cold on the same day of the snow covering the ground (maybe he should dress more warmly!), so I bought him several doses of medicine and he was just fine. Unfortunately, this meant he had to miss the Fishing Tourney on the 12th...but that's alright, because I did too. I had to work, so I didn't get to participate or attend the awards ceremony. I found out from the bulletin board that Astrid had won, with Walker taking 2nd and Mira getting 3rd. Congrats to all the winners!
Toy Day preparation has been coming along nicely in Animalia. Unfortunately, I have to work on Christmas Eve, but I get off at 10PM, so I should have time to do the Toy Day gifting if I hurry (if not, I'll just set my clock back a few hours and do it like that). That said, the following is a list of Toy Day gift hints I've gotten from my villagers:
Rosie: a black umbrella
Lolly: orange food
Punchy: something beige
Walker: a red lamp
Astrid: green wallpaper
Eugene: black clothes
Apollo: aqua clothes
Mira: clothes
Savannah: red food
Al: a green plant
I've also bought a fair few Santa outfit items from the Able Sisters as I see them. The only one I have left to obtain is the Santa pants...get to it, hedgehog sisters!
And that should catch everything up in town. My next update will be this weekend, when I have to work very little. I hope everyone has a great day, and I'll see you all next time!
