I know, right? Asking for anti-virus tips on a forum that has something to do with anthropomorphic animals. But I think we can all agree that we want to be safe from virus and malicious attacks (why do these kinds of people exist?). I don't have any protection aside from the one built into my computer, but I feel very skeptical if there are these 'deals' and free trials that are offered to me. For those who have experience with anti-virus software and what to avoid, what should I do?
Avoid Norton whatever you do. I was stuck with that for ages because my dad basically forced that on me and he like never switched til this year. Now we have Kaspersky and I like that so much better and it doesn't bloat as much on the computer, either. So yeah get a paid one even if subscription models suck big time.
There are probably other good ones out there but yeah Norton is a ****.
