What food & drink flavors/tastes do you tend to dislike?

The biggest one for me is vinegar. I've had an extreme aversion to vinegar since I was a toddler. I won't eat anything with vinegar - salad dressings, ketchup, mustard, pickles, most dips, salt & vinegar chips, etc. People are always surprised when I order burgers, subs, burritos, etc. and don't want any dressing or sauce on it. But even just the smell of vinegar makes me feel sick.

There aren't really any other flavours I dislike. I'm not a fan of banana or things that are artificially sweet, but I can tolerate them most of the time.

First of all, I have some kind of weird sensory thing where I HATE flavors without textures. Which means I exclusively drink water and no other beverages ever under any circumstances. Anything else freaks my brain out!

I like most foods, but there are a few types of flavors I don't typically enjoy. I don't like chocolate--it tastes REALLY bitter to me for some reason, no matter what kind of chocolate or what form it takes. I also don't like lemon or lime flavors. Sour things in general are not my favorites, really. And I dislike almost all artificial flavoring; it tastes plastic to me.

Of the top of my head I think the one that stands out the strongest is banana. For whatever reason it seems it be one of those flavors that I can't help but notice the presence of. Pretty avoidable, but it does mean I'll turn down smoothies and such if banana is a component even if I like every other ingredient.

Otherwise, I really don't like the taste of alcohol. I've tried it a few times over the years, mixed into different drinks, but the end result always just feels like a worse version of what it was before adding the alcohol. It's for the better anyway though that I don't care for the taste; stuff ain't good for you.

Salt (I use it minimally in cooking, that is all) and artificial fruit flavours. Cannot stand beetroot or celery.

I'm usually not picky. I can't stand salty food though. Or overly salty. Like Lays potato chips are just nasty with how greasy and salty they are. Also I don't like rotisserie chicken. I'm sure there's some decent ones out there, but when I was a kid my family would always buy them for dinners quite a lot and they were always so slimy it was gross. I couldn't stand that texture.

I'm not a big fan of super sugary foods, most sweets are too much for me
citrus-flavored drinks are also bad to me, I like the fruit, but anything like mellow yellow, mt dew, sunkist, etc is not good LOL

Same! Overly sugary food actually hurts my stomach lol. Like kid me would down so much nasty sugary food. Those pixie sticks were just straight up sugar in a tube! How could we just chug that down. So nasty lol.

I can't eat half the stuff I ate when I was a kid, had no taste buds back then :ROFLMAO:

I will throw anything watermelon into the trash. I refuse to buy any candy with that nasty flavor as one of the candies. I have refused to eat or even purchase Lifesavers candy ever since they took out the best flavors to add watermelon. I remember telling a family friend before that if Lifesavers ever added disgusting watermelon and replaced another flavor, I’d never eat or buy Lifesavers ever again and I meant it.

I LOVE watermelon flavored things but I hate the actual fruit...and then I hate banana flavored anything but like the fruit

Me after reading everyone calling "spicy" a taste

Anyway I don't mind grapes but I don't like anything grape flavoured, same with cherry. Meanwhile I don't like coffee but I enjoy a lot of coffee flavoured things.
