Maybe you finished them a long time ago or they just felt unremarkable.

I finished Yakuza 0 a few years ago. However it wasn't memorable to me and I've forgotten maybe 85% of it.

I don’t know that there’s any that I’ve finished that I’ve forgotten most of. However, there are several that I HAVEN’T finished that I come back to and I have no memory if what I’m to be doing or where I am.

I've finished Yo-kai Watch 1 but I literally remember nothing abt it LOL

I remember more of all the other games but I think Blasters is the only one I acc remember a good majority of and that's bc there wasn't much story to it lmfao

That’s me with majority of the games I play 🥲 I have bad memory so I tend to forget things easily. Though on the plus side at least I can replay them!
Played majority of the Ace Attorney series a few years back (Phoenix Wright, Miles Edgeworth, and Apollo Justice) and I’ve pretty much forgotten majority of the cases. Same with Professor Layton games. And Danganronpa 2. And PMD games (I do remember the main story of EoS but there were so many side stories that I know I’ve finished but I’ve pretty much forgotten about. Also played Super Mystery Dungeon and I genuinely don’t remember anything about it.)

bayonetta. i wouldn't consider it "unremarkable" since i really loved it after finishing it, but i vaguely remember three fights and nothing else. could not explain the story to u if u asked lol.

i think it'd be kingdom hearts 365/2 ?? that was on the DS and it's been SOOO long that i can't really remember the plot anymore - honestly i might replay it since i did really like the game when i was younger 🥺

I finished Tales of Berseria like 5 years ago or so but couldn't tell you the story of the game at all other than I liked the game. Weird...

Many. I like remasters, remakes, and ports a lot for this reason.

My partner describes it as my "ADHD superpower" - the ability to watch TV/film, read a book, or play a video game and then forget it. It's especially true if I binge content rather than engaging with it over several months. So when I return to it later it is almost like experiencing it for the first time. It does mean I struggle to engage in conversation about media I've not recently indulged in though unless it's something I've watched/read/played multiple times.

Oh man, I have the same thing. It has its perks (I've reread my favourite book series a few times and every time it was a fresh, magical journey) but I truly hate it in a long run. So yeah, I would say I forgot most of the games I've played. I tend to remember the feelings I had while playing/watching/reading and the overall satisfaction at the end.

Unfortunately no! I'd love to forget games so I could play it again :') but my visual memory is to strong

That is me with every game? I played Witcher 3 and forgot a lot about it. Not everything but I couldn't tell anyone the story. I just know it was amazing. Same with dragon age: origins. It's one of my favorit games but I wouldn't be able to retell the story. I just have super bad memory and it has nothing to do with the quality of the game. I need to play a game multiple times to remember.

Played Klonoa 1 and 2 for the first time with that phantasy reverie series remaster collection that came out a couple years ago. Loved both of those games a lot and found them fun, but it's been a while since I touched them and I don't remember much, should probably replay them again at some point though.

Story of my life...

Most of the games that I played, I've finished and forgotten about. I mainly remember the emotions and the feelings I felt as I played the game and finished, but not necessarily remember the storyline

This happens to me a lot so when I replay story of seasons games, it's hard to remember all the exact details. All the games mush together in my mind. I'm replaying SOS A Wonderful Life remake and I still have to Google details to remind me

There's honestly a fair number of games I've finished where I don't recall many details for them. This has more to do with the quantity of games I've played over the years, so it makes it harder for them to stick in my memory after awhile if I didn't really enjoy them or if they didn't really stand out to me. Looking through the list of games I've beaten in the past 5 years, a couple that work as examples are Quest: Brian's Journey (generic GBC RPG, literally don't remember any part of the story or the world, only really remember grinding for levels early in the game to get through it easier) and Army of Two: The 40th Day (Xbox 360 shooting game where I literally don't remember the characters, any of the story, or even much of the gameplay/levels themselves).

Yeah, most games I tend to forget about if it's been long enough, even if I enjoyed them. It's not that I don't care but I just forget things faster I guess. I definitely can't recall the details about most of the games I played as a kid or my teenage years.

Chaos;Head Noah. Despite finishing every route of that visual novel I remember next to nothing about the story or plot. The only things I do remember are referenced in the sequel. The only thing I really remember liking about it was the interesting choice of using ambient sounds more often than music. It made those moments when music appeared feel more important. Sadly the sequel didn't keep this.
