I am trying to make my town perfect but it is hard. I am placing down 16 by 16 patterns to mark the acres but I don't know what to do when a river is in the way. I also was wondering how many acres you have to make perfect because I heard it was 8 but that doesn't sound right.
As a clarification... you need 12-16 trees in each acre and 3 flowers, right?
I would appreciate any other tips too. Thanks
the river counts so you just have to estimate how many spaces across the river goes.
Theres a total of 25 acres in your town, 8 of these must be kept perfect, and the rest must be decent
I don't know the correct ratio, but the less trees the more flowers you need, i think with 12-16 trees in each acre you need roughly 3-5 flowers to go with it.
tips include getting your hands on gold roses as they don't need watering
oh and is easier if you chop down all your trees beforehand, and fruit and shells don't count as dropped items
Thank you. So you only need to do 8 acres for your town to have perfect status, or does that just get you the golden watering can? If I didn't plant any trees, other than what I started with, but I planted a lot of flowers, would that give me perfect status too? This information was really helpful.
I literally made a spreadsheet.
When I posted patterns, I'd start on both sides of my town so my patterns would meet at the river. Otherwise I'd go an acre up/down and make a reference to know where the next one would end. Honestly though, it might be ridiculously time-consuming but the neurotic spreadsheet is what really made my town perfect.
As for me, I used MS Paint and used different colors to represent different things: houses, other buildings, rocks and trees. I anticipate doing the same for New Leaf.
