Any tech guru's?

Hello, i got a question. My desktop monitor is killing me at the moment. So basically not turning and i'm not really sure why. The computer turns on fine but the monitor is another story. I push the power button, but it doesn't seem to turn green like it suppose to. The only thing i did to fix was to take the power bottom out and push the thing behind it to try and turn it on but no results. what do you think i should do? Everything is plugged in by the way.

I have a problem turning on THE MONITOR. It's kind of hard to turn it on and off when it won't even turn on.

What kind of monitor is it (brand, model, year purchased)

Is it a new monitor or did this just randomly start happening? Did anyone mess around your pc in any way?

You said it's not turning green - do you mean it's not receiving power or it's not receiving a signal?

First thing you wanna do is check both cords - power and signal. Plug them in more if they're loose and etc.
