I've been waiting for 3 days to either get a fishing rod, an axe or a water can and nothing else than shovels and bug nets for 3 days.

Now I really want to start fishing and cutting new trees to plant my new fruits. Anyone can share some tools? I'm on vacation from work this week only...

If you do Isabelle's chores and tell her that you're "Interested in fishing" first she will be willing to sell you a fishing rod. If you already did her chores and did bug catching instead, I don't think that'll work. She also gave me a watering can in the course of doing her chores. Hope that helps for a WiFi free way of getting some of the things you need. I might help you out, but I'm at work.

Axes are sold at the garden shop, and not everyday. I've already gone through a lot (TTer) and I'm still no where near finished cutting trees down, hahah. Wish I could help ya there, but though I'd say it might be hard to come by one unless you friend a Japanese or Korean game owner.

Axes are really needed to get things done in Animal Crossing. Oh I guess we'll have to be patient.
But what is that garden shop your talking about. I'll go check it on the wiki. Thanks for your reply!
