Hello there! :3
So I've been working on a sort of 'new style', and I would like to see if you guys have any tips to give me.
Contructive criticism is much appreciated! :)

THERE ARE AMAZING OMGGGG! I love this style!
I think the eyes look just fine. Though if they were a tad bit bigger, they would look even better.
Seriously, your art is so fantastic. There's really nothing I see that needs changing imo. Maybe try and add more details to the hair?
That's all I can say for now ;v; Keep up the great work <333

I think it looks great! I personally would work on how shading/highlighting works with hair, but the way you're doing it goes very well with your style!

Developing your own style will come naturally and from being your own critic, so don't worry too much about what others think for now. You're doing great from what I can tell! ;)

I would make the eyes just a bit larger, and work on your shading a bit more. :) try to observe how hair should be shaded (look at some hair IRL, look at your own with different light sources, etc)

Also for clothing, remember that t-shirts do not perfectly hug the shape of your boobs (ESPECIALLY if they are larger lol) so you should never shade cleavage into a t-shirt like you did in the first one.

flat/pillow shading ahoy
instead of just making a colour darker by adding black, add some hue to it:

look at the shading on the skin and dress. the one on the right seems more vivid because i didnt just make the colour darker, i also shifted hues a bit.

also, try to hav some more line variety. super thin lines dont always look the best (depends on what youre drawing)
ease a little on the hair shading.

i actually really like it but i hate the mouth so much.
maybe try showing a smile instead of teeth?

Definitely expressions :D Not sure if it's intentional or not, but all of them have the same exact smile.

And also the hair shading. At the moment they look more like steel than hair, I suspect it's because the extreme highlight you have.

This is a tutorial for painting realistic hair, but it really provides insight on how hair works and should help when it comes to shading anime hair too: http://www.cgsociety.org/index.php/...eSpecial/tutorial_how_to_paint_realistic_hair

Hope it helps! ^^;

I generally like the style you have going for. But as previously said by other people, work on shading (especially the hair), enlarge the eyes a bit, work on the expressions, and maybe even throw in a little line variety as I think it'll add more detail.

Good luck!

So I (attempted) to a traditional sketch a male today and I wanted to see what you guys think.
I think it looks ok, but it does feel like somethings a little off....Anyway, if you guys have any suggestions for me, please do tell! :D (Also sorry for crappy picture quality, I did turn up the brightness, so it should be a little better!)

Annnnd just for reference, here is an old ( just under a year ago ) male drawing:

It looks great so far! Only thing I would suggest is to smoothen the jawline a bit and it looks really uneven and bumpy. I love your art >w<

Great improvement from your old drawing :)
Idk if it's just me, it could be lol, but the nose could be a lil too close to the left eye maybe moving just a bit wouldn't make it look a lil awkward and like lemon said the jawline! Other than that keep at it!! :)

I'm not an art expert at all but hope it helped~
