Any way to keep more than 1 outfit for "special" villagers?

I had the Vol. 1 Isabelle card scanned in which had her in a green outfit (with the extra pink outfit). I've just scanned my Vol. 2 Isabelle and I thought it would keep the ones she already had and add the winter outfit, but it replaced the green so she only has winter and pink now.

Is there any way to keep all 3 or do I have to scan a card every time I want her to switch outfits? :/
(Same with K.K. and his headphones/guitar outfits)

I really don't know but, could I ask a question in return, since you have the Vol. 2? What is the point of there being another K.K. and Isabelle like??? Does it give you more furniture options for them or anything? What happens if you already have them from Vol. 1
