ANY way to remove rocks!?!

OK... So basically, Right as you come out the train station, there's a fricken' rock. Is there ANY way you can remove the rock!? I don't care how much it costs, i just NEED to get rid of it. I'm seriously considering restarting my entire town because of it...
I heard you can build a community project where it is, and then demolish the project or whatever. Would this work?

I understand that hitting it with the shovel may turn the rock into ore so it would disappear, just hit it everyday and I believe it will be gone in no time o.o

I thought this was with only certain rocks that appear in your town each day, not the ones that have been there from the start.

You're right. It is only certain rocks that do that. The ones from the start can't be moved. And you can't place community projects nears rocks or Isabelle will just tell you it's too close to a rock and to pick a new spot.

I agree with Elloriee and Jedo! There is nothing you can do about the PERMANENT ROCKS in your town... maybe in the future you can change the location / delete them with a hack or something like that.

I was thankful enough to get no rocks in any of the places I want to do stuff, nor did a single one end up on my paths. ;-; I was surprised. However, I really do think they should have added something to remove rocks, sometimes they can be such a hassle.

If seen a lot of people, maybe even 70% of the towns I've visited ALL have a rock slightly to the right when you walk down a little out of the train station. Many also have a pond right near it too. Must be commonly generated. ?

On WW I had someone come in my town once to take them all off, it was a bless.
Shame no one managed to hack the 3DS yet. Perhaps never will. It's been quite a while, already.
