Anybody having a hard time earning Nook Miles?

So the past few days have been pretty consistent for me but I’m finding it harder and harder to earn Nook Miles. At least, a comfortable amount right now. The Nook Miles+ tasks aren’t bad but you don’t get much for completing them.

I know the game is still in early stages but I’m hungry for more. As I get with every AC game.

So far I’ve opened up the museum, Nook’s Cranny, and moved in 1 more villager aside from starters. Set up 2 other residential plots too. Caught plenty of bugs and fish. Paid off my second home loan I believe & weeded the entire island.

I know for a fact that the real development of my island will take place as soon as Resident Services has been upgraded.

They're not really hard to get, just time consuming once you complete the regular non-repeatable ones over time -- especially when you're completing the higher tiered ones.

I can average about 3000-4000 a day, if I put the effort into it by completing my five doubled tasks and extra repeatable ones throughout my play session.

I’ve been playing pretty much nonstop this weekend and earn Nook Miles just from playing normally. The only task I put effort into completing was the one where I had to catch a 100 fish in a row. I currently have 16,000 miles. Maybe it’s because I don’t buy many Island Tour tickets.

Oh yeah, I know that. I guess as Khaelis stated it’s just more time-consuming rather than hard.

sometimes it so annoying it keep asking me to plant trees and flower seeds lol..but i guess getting the miles are worth it

Earning Nook Miles has actually been pretty easy for me, and most of the miles I'm getting now are the 1,000 ones and the + tasks, I have about 35k miles now and I'm constantly buying island tickets so I probably would have more. Just keep going about your day and do as much + tasks as you can!
It can be a difficult though, I keep getting sell shells tasks and my island never spawns in shells when I need them to. It got so bad, I traded a bunch of iron nuggets (because I had so many) to my friend (He couldn't seem to get enough to get the store up) for enough sea shells to complete one task. And don't get me started on the "spend with bells" and the flower/trees tasks. But other than that, it's a breeze for me to get miles quickly.

You’re probably making about the same amount as the rest of us then, you’re just spending them more often.

i'm not really having a hard time accumulating them personally. today i didn't really do many island tours and just played the game regularly.. fixed up a mini flower breeding area i'm working, watered all the flowers, gathered wood and resources from all my rocks, donated to the museum, fished for a while, etc etc. and i racked up a decent amount of nook miles.

Yeah, you’re right. I’ve just been doing the Nook Miles+ tasks and have been racking up that way when I can.
