Anybody playing HHP with multiple players on the same island?

Yes, im talking about the nook miles option (the one where you have to redeem in resident services). wasnt able to find any help guide and hence, turned to ask yall fellow players if yall were able to access the diy from 2nd / 3rd players :-(

Has your player purchased things with nook miles before? Have they made things with diys before? I'm just guessing here. My character couldn't go with kapp'n until they went on a regular tour, so maybe it's something like that? Maybe start a new thread so more people will see it?
