Anyone else having trouble scanning QR codes?

My camera seems to never pick them up. It's so annoying

My camera like freezes up but then ends up scanning the QR when it's not even in the cameras sight.

I did at first. I remember googling tips for scanning them and then I had better luck with it.

Yeah kinda. It's a little counter intuitive but taking a picture near a window with lots of light makes it harder for the camera to read. Also I try to not move as much as possible sometimes that's a problem.

It's not as smooth as the camera in acnl for reading QRs I found. I thought there was something wrong at first, but I got the hang of it and now I'm able to read a code almost immediately.
