Anyone excited for but also dreading the explosion in population on TBT?

Title says it all.

While I expect things to change, old/inactive members to go, and new ones come in, I can't help but kinda dread how much of a madhouse this place is going to be.

Don't get me wrong, I'm super excited for it to liven up again, become active, and back from the dead - but you can't deny that it will be crazy. Like if you were a regular at a gym and all of the sudden after New Years, swarms of people are rushing in who don't know how to do anything. Though I'm excited to teach newer members for a change.

I can't think of a reason why I would NOT want to see more posts here.

I am not exactly a "regular", but I have been coming here on and off since before ACNL was released in NA (on June 9th, 2013) so I saw the increase in posts back then. I didn't ever think it was terrible to see more interest in Animal Crossing here. More people, more tips, more information.... I like that.

I'm excited! I know I have been here for such a short amount of time, but it would bring me such nostalgia to be on a super active animal crossing forum again.

Back in 2006 when ACWW was popular I was active on Friendcodes. I met a lot of friends there, some of which I'm still friends with today!

The more, the better

Getting an Animal Crossing game around release is worth it for the community aspect of things alone, and TBT helps to connect so many people, trades, etc.

Honestly, I've been ready for the surge of new people that would join TBT with a new AC game since like... before NH was announced. Having a NL "shop" on here was some of the most fun I had with that game, and I'm so excited to (eventually, once I've settled into the game) do it again in New Horizons with the community being much more active.
