anyone going through "paradise planning slump"?

Nope! But I haven’t even unlocked some of the features. I really take my time with each house and try to make it a livable space that aligns with their original request. I do one house per day, occasionally skipping a day if I’m busy. I sometimes do a second house but only when I have the whole day off work. I’m having a great time! Got new dialogue with Wardell last night. I enjoy taking this slow, as it’s allegedly the last new content this game will receive.

I only play it if I’m in the mood to. I haven’t designed a home in a week and I’m ok with that honestly.

I was super excited in the beginning but it can be tedious and time consuming. Sometimes the prompts are meh. And sometimes the prompt sounds good but the furniture is blah. I’m glad we can choose whether they get 1 or 2 floors because then I get to decide how much house I want to decorate. I usually try to do at least one design because I like to go check out the store because nooks rarely has the new furniture. And then I feel bad showing up to just shop and not work.

i've been in a slump since it released asdfghjkl. i'm not a decorator, so it usually feels like a chore above all else, though i am proud of some of the homes i've decorated. i always leave it until the end of my playtime, and i'll usually only do one house before calling it quits. if all the villager prompts suck (i.e. aren't at least close to a normal house), i won't build one at all and wait until they refresh the next day. i'll probably tackle the more "unlivable" requests once i've unlocked multiple levels so i can at least build bedrooms and stuff on an upper floor. i've only just reached the second and third facilities. i built the cafe yesterday, but i'm much less excited about the restaurant. at least the hospital will be easier -- after all, they can generally only look a certain way.

I didn't play HHP yet but I already planned to only make one or two houses per day (alternative one building like a shop or restaurant) to not getting bored too quickly from it. One of the reasons why Happy Home Designer became lame for me after a short time was because I did too many houses along with buildings on just one or two days. Hence why I was burned out fast and dropped the game due to the fact that I had nothing really to do anymore and started to lost interest. I don't wanna make the same mistake again, so that's why I take my time and go in with a slow pace. I love to decorate and from what I saw so far HHP seems to be much bigger than HHD, I'm excited to be able to finally checking it out next week.
