Anyone gonna get MySims?

It looks like a game MyWife (cheesy, sorry) might enjoy and her birthday is coming so I was wondering if any of you picked it up already?

I read on Gamespot that you no longer are hampered with the whole eating, sleeping, go to work, hassle in this one and since thats what she disliked most about the old one I'm betting she'd go for this one.

Yeah thats why I don't like them as much as other genres myself, but my wife likes something she can just pick up and kill a little time with. She falls in the casual gamer label. But hey I count my blessings in the fact that my wife likes to play video games!

My wife really doesn't like video games, though Wii Sports has turned that around a little bit. She loves the Tennis game. Go figure.

Since we got the Wii she has been playing Wii Sports, Wii Play, Twilight Princess,MKD for the GC, and Metriod Prime for the GC. Way more gaming than she ever used to do, so i figure hey get her one she would enjoy! She liked the old sims and roller coaster tycoon games for PC and this MySims looks like a mash-up of those two.

Man, I don't know why, but I thought you was a teenager, lol.

I'm going to get MySims, but only for my sister. The main reason why I would have got it for myself would have been for an online mode. Sadly, they dropped the ball there.

Gamespot gave it a what, 6.5?

for once I disagree with GameSpot, it seems fun to me. Probably not gonna get it though, saving my money for Gears on PC (along with getting Vista), Brawl, and Force Unleashed, can't spend anything extra atm

I got it, and I really like it. I'm a big Sims-fan, and I like games where you can like...create stuff.
