I have an old Mickey Mouse lamp from when I was kid, as well as some toys and โBaby Minnieโ birthday cards.
As for nowโฆI know someone who took a Disney college class and she had a cool textbook from it. I have it and read it now and thenโ it covers early animated movies, up until the late 60s. I wish it talked about some from the Disney Renaissance, like The Little Mermaid and Beauty and the Beast, but it has a lot of cool art and behind-the-scenes stories.
Also, they brought actual deer in the studio to draw Bambi! (They did this later with lions during The Lion King.)
I was passed down a set of Disney China that my grandpa got my uncle back in the 1970s from one of his many port stops in Japan. The box itโs in is beat up, but the China itself is still in good condition and you can still see characters from movies like 101 Dalmatians on it. Itโs probably worth a lot now.
As a little kid, I loved to dress up as Winnie the Pooh and still have my old costume lol. I also have a Sebastian plush and Woody and Buzz Lightyear dolls.
