Android - I'm not wasting my money on a phone that costs more than a computer.

I always knew I disliked iPhones, but back in October of 2014 I was forced to start using an iPhone, and it was then that I realized... iPhones are literally the worst.

So I had to suffer with it for 2 years, and I finally got a Samsung Galaxy S7 back in November 2016. This phone is 10000x better than any iPhone I've ever seen or used :)

Apple as for phones, even though all newer models are terribly overpriced.

Androooooid I've never had an apple phone but I've tried to use others' and I hated it. Not to mention how expensive they are

I'm leaning towards Apple, they seem more faster gaming wise, it's just me, lol.
Instead of getting those really ******** expensive phones where they simply removed the Home Button and basically put a price tag on earphones (Though I admit, they're harder to break. The jacks were more susceptible to bending and therefore breaking), get the older models. They might be a tad bit slower, but they're reasonably priced and reliable.. (And despite the the fact that you can't fully customize it to your will, the IPhone 6S is half the price of the Samsung Galaxy)

Android is obviously more reliable since it's so much easier to download what you want and just do whatever you want to your android just by rooting it.

I really wished I could change the ringtone, factory font, and make the background gif animated, but i'm not complaining, I had to deal with a two gigabyte ASUS Android for at least a year and I lived with it. (Despite the fact I all-around despised it, lol)

I am in technical support specifically for phones and all Ill say is this: galaxies and iphones are terrible. galaxy s8's have a known issue with delayed text messaging. iphones will literally stop connecting to any service if you change ANYTHING including just leaving the state for a few days. These are two major drivers for them breaking, aside from a multitude of other issues BOTH have. do yourself a favor and get either the lg g5 or g6. they aren't as expensive, they're big, they last more then two years and they work. These lgs Im talking about are not to be confused with the lg k8 which is terrible. motorolas USED to be good, but the moto e and the motoforce are not good either.

I went from an android to an apple. I get less soliciters calling me because their apps are more regulated. and the OS seems to move more fluidly. I miss my ability to basically customize what I want though.

--- edit
I wrote this pretty early on my junk phone, sorry for the grammatical errors

I couldn't care less about customization though, I just want a simple menu system I can navigate and that is not Android nowadays. My mom has some Samsung galaxy I think and when she asks for help I'm like... wtf how do you even go to this and that thing on it??

Why has their to be sides?

To be honest, I don't care for the brand. If the phone works, it works!

Apple all the way for me. Though I don't like the newer models all that much, I'd still rather have them than an Android. The one time I had an Android, I had to replace the same phone over and over like 6 times until my contract was finally up. Ever since I had an iPhone, I haven't had much problems. I currently have the iPhone6 and it's been my favorite phone ever, but it's ageing and it's well overdue for an upgrade. Another thing, Android's cameras are absolutely awful.

My first phone was an Apple until I decided to get a new phone and wanted to try out Android. I think my Android is unique and convenient to me so I do like it. I'd probably prefer the brand of Android rather than say Android all around is the best, because I haven't had any other Android phones. The only downside is the camera isn't good for selfies xD One con that I have for Iphones is that Apple admitted to slowing down phones with each upgrade. So why would I spend money on an expensive phone that I plan to have until it can't function anymore as intended, and Apple just wants to speed up that process so I'll spend money on a newer phone that I don't exactly need or want. So yeah I'm sticking with Android and possibly my brand of Android, if in the future I need a new phone. :) Btw, my phone brand is LG.

Android > anything else but honestly just PLEASE don't get a Windows Phone. They make flip phones look fantastic.

Do they still even make these? I haven't worked on one in what seems like forever. And yeah, it was pretty terrible.

they both have their pros and cons and esp w the thing abt apple admitting to slowing down older phones it's like... eh.... but i'm still an apple person. i think the aesthetics of androids are SO ugly i cannot stand it. everything about it is repulsive to me tbh.. the emojis, the weird curly font some of them have, the boxy messages, idk. also the phones are in weird sizes and shapes imo, and the ability to customize everything on android is cool and all but i'd lose my mind. just choosing wallpapers i like enough to stick w for more than a day is an accomplishment for me, and it's all i need to feel satisfied. i just prefer the simplicity of iphones. ofc i'm biased cuz i've been surrounded by apple products all my life (we had an imac g3, i used to play computer games on there lol)

Apple, because that’s what I enjoy using and have been using since my first smartphone thus did not have much exposure to Android. Perhaps if I get equal exposure to both, I could like them equally.
