I am for android!
Except when it comes to tablets. I have to admit, I am not a big apple fan at all,
but the iPad 2018 is really great for the price, so when it comes to tablets I prefer Apple. :)

Android.

I find Android devices to be more reasonably priced for what you're getting, plus I find the interface easier to use.

Never been a fan of apple. Typically paying for a brand whilst what you're actually getting doesn't measure up compared to other stuff on the market. I can't even agree with "they're better for art or music software", I've used music software on other devices without issue, meanwhile I had to use Mac in collage and just thought "this is awful...In fact, this is more awkward to use than what I use at home"

Apple, only because I've been using it for some time now and it's hard to make the switch to Android. I'm also used to the ios interfaces now and I really wouldn't be able to live without my imac or ipad. They just work hand in hand so fluidly for my job ;_; Most of my devices have been second hands or hand me downs though (I still use iphone5), if not I wouldn't be able to enjoy them.

my last two phones have been iphones but i don't think i will get a new iphone after this. i'm not a fan of what they're doing and the phones are all stupidly expensive

I like the Iphone, but android's have more apps that you can't get on a iphone, but I like both! c:

I used to have iphones. iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, and finally, the iPhone 5C. They were the worst. They were slow, unresponsive, and the charging ports malfunctioned/kept disconnecting. I switched to a Galaxy S7 after 4 years of dealing with Apple and it works so much better for me. I work in an electronics department and I notice the people that have iPhones are more likely to lose their patience with me or be snotty when I'm trying to help them. I don't know if that's a coincidence.

Android by default (I haven't ever used any Apple phones, and have no interest in doing so. Android works just fine for me).

Apple, by far. I had a terrible experience with my first phone which was an Android. Never again.

android bcz its what im used to on phone but i use both. neither of them are particularly any better than the other.

i prefer apple. i switched to an android for a week after i traded in my iphone 6s and i didn’t like it, but it isn’t a horrible operating system. i like the simplicity of apple phones, i have a iphone 12 now and too many other apple products so it’s not like it would make much sense to switch anyway.

I've had both Android and iPhone phones, and they've both been ok. I'm not partial to one or the other. For tablets, I haven't had anything other than iPads, and I love them a lot. For computers, a Microsoft OS is essential, so I wouldn't use an Apple. I guess they've each got their own thing going on. 😊

I have an android but I really hate it. So yeah i vote apple

Samsung phones don't come with great features for photos especially no qr code reader, like seriously. I'm sick of having to use 3rd party apps for lots of things because my phone hardly comes with anything. I also really dislike how it uses google as it's main. I have a 2019 phone and I suspected it would come with more but its bad. Also sick of how so many nice phone cases i love are only for iphone. I just hate how its limited to things. Someday I'll get an iPhone even though they have bad prices. I have more cons about android but this post is long enough.

I have both. I prefer my Apple one though. I’ve had Apple phones longer.

Recently I had to get a secondary phone for job purposes. I just didn’t want to have people at job calling my personal phone. The Android was a cheaper option, so now I have an Android.
My android keeps getting viruses and seems slower than the Apple one. It is an older model though. My iPhone isn’t the newest model either it’s an iPhone 8.
I just think the iPhone is easier to manage.

Unpopular opinion of both XD though it sucks to sync up my Samsung phone with MacBook or iPad or vice versa

I would say I prefer Android as I have more Android devices and transferring files is easier than the dreaded iTunes and the constant not enough memory messages even those there is! Despite the annoyances with Apple, I do have an Apple iPad and that is an amazing device. I couldn't be without that.

I use an iPad. The thing I like most about it is Procreate, amazing (and cheap) drawing app which is only on iOS. Procreate would legitimately make me get an iPad by itself if I didn’t have one. Even if Photoshop is good, drawing on a computer has never been as intuitive as drawing on a tablet and I’m so used to Procreate by now.

iOS has gotten a lot better over the last 15? years but I mean… they really obsolete and slow down devices fast. Aside from that everything related to these devices is so expensive and now you’re forced to be without a proper headphone jack. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve wanted or tried to voice chat on Discord and I can’t because the iPad is dying and I need the headphone mics to talk properly but the adapter uses the charging slot. I do keep it charged, but it still happens a lot. The adapters are just terrible quality and break so easily too. I keep getting disconnected from Discord calls because of the adapter messing up and it thinks I want to end the call like I pressed something on my headphones? I refuse to use wireless headphones, they’re more junk that need charging.

Now those things are more bearable for iPads to me. I don’t necessarily need to have a headphone jack on a tablet even though I think it’s a terrible design choice, just cheap manufacturing. However, on a phone, having no headphone jack is absolutely unbearable and pushes me away from iPhones completely. I’m not really fond of either OS but at least I have more freedom on Android? I’d rather have a dumb phone and it opens Android up to more malware so I guess that isn’t much of a selling point. But! In the end I can still buy some Android phones with proper jacks, for now. I can put whatever music I want on them too (edit: I forgot iOS can download MP3s and play them in the file app, even if that isn’t great), although honestly, I want a dedicated MP3 player to spare my battery anyway.

Also I’m going to second the point of it being easier to transfer files from Android- I have a lot of precious stuff on an old iPad and getting things off it was such a pain.

Android since I like having more control over my phone. iPhones look nice and are super simple to use buuuuut not the phone for me.
