Progress Update 4:50 PM 2/22
Recently I've been falling behind on my work due to school and things but I am adding 2 new sections tonight. Everything should be open on Saturday.

First post.

:p

Anyways, clap! *claps for odd*

Remember guys there may be missing stuff but it will be added soon. It is constantly being updated. :gyroidwink:

(History was actually meant to be brief and not include everything. It was originally just going to be how TBT was started.)

I'm sorry, but the history is too cheesy to read... too much voice, and most of it is irrelevant "stuff"

"A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away..... Whoops wrong line."

Basically sums up how serious this project has been taken, or at least thats what it gives off.

"When summer came around a treacherous thing happened to TBT. A dark disturbance in the force awakened. Darth Gohan and Emperor StormComander rose from the depths of doom. On July 17, 2006 TBT's prophecy was fulfilled. Since Bulerias was on vacation there was nothing he could do. It was up to The People's Republic of TBT to save the forum. Of course the winner of the battle is still being debated. The war can still be found in the Retired boards section of the forum."

That was basically one day when storm got bored decided to change the skin and talk about starwars... hardly worth the paragraph it takes you guys to talk about it.

A lot of what is seen in the history section is just you talking... It's written in first and second person (not third person, which is what it SHOULD be written in) and makes references to things that hardly matter and nobody should care about, while looking past things in our history that REALLY matter. To put it into perspective, you wrote a paragraph about a day-long event, and gave a broken sentence about TBT Fair/Camp Redd... I don't feel you guys know what you're doing...

The point of talking about our history is to explain things that were going on back then... while yes, it's probably harder for two people who weren't there through the beginning, you're still missing the very basics, you just sort of hop in instead of explaining things, reading about the history is to LEARN what happened, you're giving it assuming people knew about the ACAC, how it worked, and a ton of other stuff not explained.

your history section reads asif you spent ten minutes on it then ran off to watch a TV show, came back and said "yeah it looks good."

sorry to be such a critic, but if you're going to give something this much hype, you need to give it some backbone as well...

Yeah, I pretty much agree with Fish.

There were quite a few things in the history that were referenced, but not explained. I have no clue what "Project Sunlight" was, or "TBT Fair" was, and still don't.

I looks to me like the history is written as if to remind someone of what happened in the past, as long as the person has been here the entire time. It should explain everything it talks about.

If you guys don't mind me saying, I will be adding tons of stuff to this... I have, thus far, only been proof-reading paragraphs (grammar and sentence problems), but now, I'll actually start involving myself a little more... I.e., add some of the important stuff that I actually remember since I was here.

Hope so... it needs a lot of work as of now, I could barely make it through reading it the first time.

Kind of harsh don't you think he spent a long time preparing this anyways aww not all of the archives is there yet but I will be looking forward to seeing the other parts

^_^

Nvm - I agree I think

Okay thanks for the criticism guys yea I did indeed work a lot on this and well yea... I'll continue to work on it. :gyroidwink:

Linkerator was accepted into the staff on April 9, 2005 and was than G-Moded on July 10, 2005. Although he wasn't too active, he was a great member to have overall. Although as time moved along he stopped showing up. After a while he was de-moded to sage and than he received the Retired Staff Rank. He has now been online recently popping in and out.

Ahem.. Linkerator became a mod when TBT and Bul's forum merged.. linkerator was a global mod on Bul's forum and therefore, he was offered a Local Mod position here on TBT.

That's when they merged though....

According to my sources that's what happened. Although I will add he was a part of Bul's forum.

@ Yea Who's Who was added and I'm adding contact in a while.

Progress Update
So far today you may have realized I've been editing it a little. Yea that's true I'm only adding a few things, taking things away and overall making it look a little more professional. Also I have started to re-write some parts of the History to Include more about, Project Sunlight, TBT Fair (Thanks to storm adding TBT Fair to retired boards), and adding all your input.

Well possibly in the future that may be possible.

;) I still have to talk to the staff about that.
