Archived Save Data Frustration

Hi guys, to make more room for my Pokémon Sword save file, I archived my ACNH save file until I could delete unwanted software and clear up room on my Switch Lite. But...I can't redownload it. Whenever I try, it works okay for a while, but then my Switch will lock up and I'm unable to get it working again until I force restart it multiple times. When it does restart, the download has to start over again. My dorm doesn't have amazing wifi, so it will probably take multiple hours to download in the event that it works. Honestly, my Switch Lite has been giving me nothing but trouble for the almost year that I've had it. I'm considering just caving in and saving up some paychecks for a new Switch, but I'm not sure. Have any of you had this issue?

I've never archived any save files, so I haven't encountered that issue. But perhaps you could try using your Switch with some other wifi and see if it works any better. Maybe at a café or a library or somewhere else they have free wifi.
