Are you the youngest, oldest, or middle child? Or are you an only child?

middle child, i like to say i'm 3 minutes older than my twin sister. (i am!!) i totally get the high expectations thing, but it resulted from an opposite situation for me.
my older sister switched her bachelors 3 times in one semester after taking a full gap year (even tho she graduated high school a year later than everybody else) and was generally a very irresponsible role model, so my dad is super strict with me going to uni immediately after i graduate high school (even tho i skipped a year ahead and am younger than the rest of my class). now i'm stuck going to uni on a whim with no chance of having a gap year lol.,,, i wish she werent supposed to be my role model sometimes..

I'm the oldest! I like it as I'm kinda like "a mini boss" lololol. Not so much now as my siblings and I are all in our 20s but I liked having the extra trust my parents had in me to take care of my siblings when they needed me to.

I'm the youngest child, 1,5 years younger than my brother. We get along fine, especially because we are a little older now, but we aren't that close. It was mostly my brother, who never really felt the need to hang out with me that much

I’m an only child. My parents considered having a second kid, but by the time I was born they were too old. Sometimes I wish I had a sibling. It could’ve been fun to have someone to play with.

I’m the middle child out of three girls. When we were younger I would get the brunt of it from both of them when we would fight but now we’re all pretty close. I think living apart brought us closer together.

I only have one sibling, my brother, and he's a year and a half older than I am. My brother lives on his own and unfortunately I'm stuck w my parents cause I'm still in school so I can't afford rent. I'm so jealous that he got to move out and doesn't have to deal w our dad on a daily basis lol.

Luckily we've always been pretty close, especially in terms of our interests, so I feel grateful to have him as such an awesome brother <333

I'm an only child. I briefly wanted a sibling to play video games with as a young child. Then I realized that babies can't play video games so I'd have to wait until they were old enough, and then they'd still suck at them so I'd have to wait for them to get better, and during that time I'd also be getting better at video games so there'd still be a skill gap for a number of years. Plus that meant having to deal with a crying baby, having to share my stuff, and not getting as much time to myself. In the end I decided that it wasn't worth it, and I've been happy being an only child ever since.

I do have a stepsister, but we didn't grow up together and aren't particularly close so I don't really count her as my sibling.

I have a brother that’s six years older. Looked up to him when I was younger and most of my clothes/supplies throughout school were his hand-me-downs.

i’m an only child. my mother was pregnant with a second child at one point, and she’s convinced that she had been pregnant with two kids when she was pregnant with me, but due to health issues i’ve remained the only child. it’s kinda sad and i sort of wish i had a sibling as things can get lonely sometimes but i suppose it’s for the best ^;^

I am an only child! It’s great, really. Because I go to Catholic school, being an only child is a very rare occurrence lol

Oldest with a younger brother (4 years apart). Being the oldest in my family meant you got the harshest (also least consistent) parenting. For most of my brothers toddler years, my parents were convinced that he couldn't/didn't lie so I got blamed for everything. He learned to take advantage of that, but I repaid him with years of beating him at every game we played (I should have gone easier on him, but little me was savage). Now he is way bigger than I am, but thankfully he doesn't still want to beat me up like he used to :3 Our relationship is okay now, were on good terms, but I'm hoping the future brings us closer together.

I was so mean to my middle sis
I took all my teenage angst out on her, a few year back I apologized crying to her lol & now she’s pretty distant with everyone. I always treated my youngest sis like she was my daughter so we’re a lot closer now they’re getting so grown up T-T

only child. I guess the good thing is that I didn't have to share. My dad didn't want anymore kids after me and good idea since I was quite expensive, well I still am. I never liked cheap looking stuff.

Oldest child by 30 seconds! I have a twin sister (we are fraternal, not identical) and a younger sister that’s 2 years younger than me. I’m very close to both of my sisters, but for different reasons. The middle child (that’s what we call my twin. Probably unfair to her but the lives up to the description of the middle) and the youngest are so mean to each other all the time, it’s exhausting. Half the time I have to split them up or comfort one so they won’t stay mad for like an hour, but I guess that’s just life since quarantine! My twin and I are close because we have a the same friends and like to goof of with each other. The youngest and I bond over liking to be silly and I participate in all the things that she want me to! I’m very close to everyone in my family, and I should count myself lucky.

I’m the oldest. It’s definitely a trade-off. On one hand, everything you do is new and exciting to the whole family. On the other hand, you’re the guinea pig for everything, and the parents tend to be a little harder on you.

i'm the oldest out of three but i'm often mistaken for the youngest bc i'm the shortest and the way i act lol

I'm the oldest out of four. I'm twenty nine years old, my brother is twenty four, my sister is twenty three, and my youngest sister is sixteen.
That being said, I think I look fairly similar in age to them, given I'm mistaken as twenty or less all the time, and I'm the shortest of all four of us.
I think I just got used to hanging out with a younger crowd, because I dress a bit trendier than a typical thirty year old woman should (I have some fantastic, round glasses) and I act a tad younger in age. Ah, well. It'll catch up to all of us eventually.
